Plants looking bad. Need advice

These are my dads plants. About week 5 of flower.

I dont do soil so not sure. Lots of N deficiency it looks like. Lots of yellow leaves that fall off easily on the bottoms. I removed a lot of them.

Hes doing 5ml/gal grow, micro and bloom flora series. He was doing compost teas beforehand. Said his feed is between 1.8 and 2.0 EC. He has a truncheon

Ive been watching them for him for the past week. Been feeding them lucas formula 8ml micro and 16ml bloom per gal at 1.9EC

I always thoughr with soil u feed every other watering. He says hes been feeding every watering which is 3 times a week. Not sure if hes watering enough at each watering. He has it setup on a timer for 2 minutes.

They look hungry to me. The back right one has necrotic spots. To me looks like N, K and Cal Mag deficiency

nitrogen is mobile so bottom leaves turning yellow very well could be a Nitrogen Def. But it could be ph problem not letting it get the nitrogen as well.

If they are in the flower stage they don’t need many Nitrogen, that’s why the Lucas formula. It seems for me lack of Potassium:

Yeah id make sure ph is in range for the medium. Past that it looks like mag def which also will look like n def. Epsom salt.

I hear ya & they are going deficient, but at week 5 that’s almost a GOOD thing IMO, & if they’re an 8 week strain then personally I’d say ‘fuggit’ & have a tastier bud. :man_shrugging:

It’s only like a week+ early for the “fade” …(i think).

I agree at this stage I wouldn’t worry about it or even try to correct it.

In future maybe give them a little more N for a little longer at the beginning of flower. But a little N def is no big deal.

All the best
