I’ve been watching this thread since it’s inception and just brought out 27 of my teen plants that moms have been plagued by powdery mildew for at least three or four years. I trimmed up heavy before application.
We’re about to find out whether @JoeCrowe and his sulfur protocol does the trick. I hope it does.
I’ve tried everything Dr. Zymes, potassium bicarbonate, lost coast therapy, and at least 10 other snake oil type eradictaors… you name it…I’ve tried it.
If this doesn’t work I’m scraping all my coveted moms and I’m just gonna start growing from seed again.
I can hear the mildew dying from here Screams of joy from the plants though… fucking parasite sucks out their life. One more application in two weeks, the mildew is fucking done.
Absolutely, two weeks from now I’ll dose them again….I hope to hell this works. Thanks for the suggestion with this, it’s such an aggravating issue in the garden.
These particular ones have always been indoors. I’ve run them all in and out over the last couple of years. Some obviously are more susceptible than others…but damn near all of the moms have had it at one point or another.
Yah it’s strange how the spread rate varies on the different strains. OK If they are only indoors then you don’t have to worry about breaking the cycle outside. It’s just an additional step of spraying the area you had the plants growing in the spring.
This right here. Those things you said, I’m here to end that shit. Aggravation gone, snake oil done, mildew dead. Those online grifters can stow that shit in the bin.
heh heh don’t sweat it, everyone went through the same thing the first time. It’s like the fucking shit will never die, and when it’s finally dead, it’s hard to even believe.
Sweet, I can only imagine how killer these cultivars will be without mildew constantly in my way…if this shit works I’m sending you cuts of all of them And I’ve spend a fortune collecting these strains.
I’m from Canada! After this you will be the mildew assassin. Just tell another person who is suffering from mildew about it and I’ll be happy. Probably going to be a while before the information escapes legal producer land here. I’m going to be telling the farmer down the road, as well. The real interesting thing, is the reaction the person has to the information. Mildew is such an interesting…topic, as you can see from this thread. It get’s 'em agitated!
Spent hundreds of dollars on so called remedies. $15 bag gone. Lots of the products I tried aren’t necessarily bad for preventative ipm sprays. I have my normal spray and been using it forever. I took in an affected plant and bam pm. Sulphured them. Back to my normal routine. Just thinking of all the hours I wasted before I achieved victory.
No new spread complete halt of PM leaves are very healthy and the plant is growing like a monster both of them.Cease 60ml and 15 ml of labs to a gallon of RO water has for now beat the living crap out of the Parasite and the leaves have a sheen to them that is vibrant and the Smell has increased in the plant and boosted health. The PM has essentially turned into water scale on effected leaves it’s just a yellow smudge with shanked Dead PM on the leaf absolutely no spores they have been struck by a smooth criminal
I hope you can make it through using cease. I did not use that one I don’t think. So I will be watching to see it through till harvest. But I will never get to this point of battling pm ever again. I have enough of that sulphur for a lifetime
lol yah CapnCannabis always comes up with something radical. The last promising one was copper! I was hoping that would work, but it didn’t in the long run. Caused damage to the leaves on the small plants.
This one though is Bacillus subtilis, which I find to be promising. It’ll be interesting!
