So im trying to buy some seed on strainly, but the guy wants me to pay through friends and family. Im a little nervous about that because there’s nothing i can do if he doesn’t hold up his end of the bargain.
He had 3 feedback, but all from the same person within the last 24 hours.
What do you guys think? Any opinions or suggestions?

Yeh, if in doubt, listen to your gut feelings. I would be hesitant as well.

sounds shady… i mean the paypal fee is very minimal, he should just increase his asking price by $5 if that’s his concern
I think he has to send money in the “send to a friemd or relative” mode (has no fee or costs), not as a trade. When you use the trading option, you can have your money back if you don’t receive the ítem purchased and there is also a “payment after delivery” option if you are a good client.
Apparently this is a “send to a friend” so it has no garamtee at all as it is presumed not being a trade
I wouldn’t purchase them at all, buying seeds from well known breeders may be more expensive, but thete’s good genetics guaranteed and they help you in case there"s something wrong.
I didn’t receive a package from Amsterdam, I contacted them and they resend it to me with more gifts inside. My shame was that the first package finally arrived 
, so I had the double of seeds, which knowing the number of casualties, collateral damages and certified coitus that my grows currently have, it was a good thing after all …

I had that happen to me my first time buying from Sannies. He told me to give some out to my friends instead of sending them back
For seeds I only accept PayPal Friends and Family also and there’s a reason for it. The buyer could easily get their money back and say they never received their seeds. Seller is out Seeds and buyer makes out like a bandit.
I can understand it both ways. Which is why i wish he had more of an extensive feedback so i could have gone on with the purchase.
I bought from Down East Genetics on Strainly using the Family and Friends method of PayPal and it went very well for me.
Can i ask what did you end up getting, was it any good?And did they do freebies?
I got a version of MOB, and I say a version because I’m pretty sure the original MOB is clone only. I also asked about whether he had an early outdoor strain and he recommended his last pack of “Fruitopia”, something that I hadn’t heard of before. He even got around to sending me some photos of it even though he was having trouble getting into cell range and had some other personal matters going on - I didn’t know at the time. I didn’t get freebies, but the Fruitopia grew out exactly to description and was a sturdy strain that would have no doubt done well outdoors - I just didn’t like the way it smelled, even in veg, just too sick-skunky for me. The buzz was quite heady, and it had such good trichome production that it was like rolling gum into a rolling paper.
I haven’t grown out the MOB yet, so I can’t comment on that. Many of the other comments he has are positive as well.
As I said, I wouldn’t hesitate to order from him again, even though he’s in Maine. He’s definitely super polite and easy to deal with.
