More overkill!!! No. 4 from the hoop. Suffering from some stem blight so it was time to harvest. Glad I have clones of this one as it looks to be my favorite overkill so far!

Beautiful cola! Looks fantastic.

What’s your favorite plant at this point in the season? I assume most things are down, coming down or about to come down.

I think you’ve done an incredible job with your grow overall, and the breeding project despite all the storms and issues this season. A++ I’ve enjoyed and appreciated your grow log.

Thanks @FieldEffect ! So far I am most excited about the black dom #7 as she is the frostiest plant I have ever come across in 10+ years!

Most resistant to septoria would be early bird and freezelands!

Are you going to do a overview of each after smoking? So grow observation, smoke report, worthy of reruns type reports
Looks tasty

I’m going to do my best to give a review of all.

For now I am in trim hell hanging with some freezeland #1

Mostly a citrus earthy fuel dank smells right now. Reminds me of the hashplant 95 from strayfox I ran last year, which is HP13 x I-95.

So no spicy, burnt rubber smells. That’s a bummer on the smell department. How was the hadhplant 95?

Sounds like a great place to start investing some time and energy on a swamp patch or two to me!

May be a little off topic but is there a typical lineage that produces the burnt rubber terps?

My Avenue of the Giants last season reeked of burnt rubber, not the most appetizing smell to me, but other folks seem to really seek it. Just curious what they are typically attributed to. What terp is it? Several probably. Maybe an Afghan thing?

Water being one of the biggest challenges of keeping seedlings and small plants alive, growing in a swamp might not be a bad idea at all. Aside from the potential of overwatering, another issue in low-lying areas is soil pH. It tends to be more acidic. When you amend the soil where you intend to put a plant, mix a little “lawn lime.” Calcium carbonate will neutralize a lot of the acid in the soil. In a swamp, water will wick up from the ground, and swamps are very difficult navigate. Find a spot out of sight, that also gets plenty of sunlight, preferably in a nearly inaccessible spot with as few ways in our out of it as possible.

Not entirely sure what produces the burnt rubber terps. I know that anything with fuel comes from lemon as a base. Anyone else have more knowledge on terps?

My biggest issue was deer, rabbits, and humans! Thanks for the info!

Try burying a bar of Irish Spring soap or something else heavily perfumed near each plant. That’s a trick we use here. Try planting a clove of garlic and/or some basil seeds near each plant, as well. That should help with the bugs.
