Here are the images for a white widow and a sherbet cookies plant. I’m thinking they are within a week away of the cut. give me some thoughts, if you would.

Interesting mix of clear, partly cloudy, cloudy and amber trichomes. Give it a week, maybe check it daily. Depends on the type high you want, cloudy = racy, more amber = stoney effect.

thank you for the response. I also was thinking about a week, hopefully no longer. but, if it must be, then it shall be, period.

Hoping for some advice on an auto, please.

Things are looking good so far, but I’m a bit confused as this is a 56 day auto which was planted at the beginning of July.

This was ten days ago and at about the eight week mark, still lots of fresh looking pistils:

Some pictures from yesterday show the remaining young pistils.

I don’t have any great trichrome shots and my attempts at photography with optics have been fruitless, but examination with a magnifying glass hasn’t revealed any amber trichromes.

Now that the plant is going on ten or eleven weeks I’m at a loss. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you! My guts tell me to stay the course but the advertised “56 days” has imbued a sense of urgency into the situation.

Much appreciated.

Ignore the numbers on the pack. They are all bullshit anyway.

You’ll develop a feel for when they’re ready. Let them tell you, not the other way around.

The trichs will tell ya… The numbers on the pack are a guide, a guestimate and usually an optimistic one at that. My black creams from sweet seeds went like 2 weeks over their suggestions. And I didnt even want a lot of amber!

Yeah, they dont listen very well otherwise. LOL

Easily anougher week in my opinion. The breeder stated times are not to be followed or you’ll end up with weed that isn’t worth burning. If the trichomes all look cloudy and you want to get high then you can take her but if you want to get stoned you need to see plenty of amber trichomes. Don’t rush. This is not a race.

Welcome to OG @Pieplant , looks like you got some time to go yet. Those white pistils standing up are a sign of growth.

Pull anytime! There’s plenty of amber for my tastes even a bit more…

Trics look ripe but the cola looks like it’s just getting started. I’d wait another two weeks.

One thing when using the scope to keep in mind:
Trichs on the sugar leaves ripen faster than the ones on the flowers.
You are in the window without a doubt, but all the white hairs showing make me think that you are just at the start of the window.
It is surprising how much the flower can swell in the last couple of weeks.
Pic 2 is definitely a leaf, so it will be more ripe than the tricks on the flower.
Pic 3 looks like a flower, and you will notice the difference from pic 3.
Great pictures by the way!
Lookin Frosty!
