Couldn’t stay away. Sold my YJ a few years back to fund a trip to Utila to become a scuba instructor. My trusty F150 was giving me some issues this winter after 18 years together, so I pulled the trigger on this. Needs tires and rims next, but nothing major till she’s paid off LOL. (with a 1.5" leveling kit on the front I can fit 35’s hehe and when shes paid off I’ll do a 3.5" lift and 40’s and change gears / add lockers). For now this will do.

A couple of days before Halloween, I was driving the Jeep to pick up my daughter and the check engine light went on. A few minutes later my check gauges light came on and my voltage dropped to 9V. I made it home and checked the battery voltage with my multimeter. Sure enough, I was getting 12V with the engine running. It dropped to 10V when I gave it some gas. The kiddo decorated it for Halloween, and I replaced the alternator last weekend. It was an easy four hour job including returning the core and taking breaks for dabs and lunch.
