that was awesome, wonder if he was smoking that blue crystal of his???
Its from Malcom in the Middle, long before he started making meth in my town.
12 Grass Fire OG in cups. Most of them had pretty long tails after three days in the water. Three haven’t cracked yet.
The two beds with the Green Crack continue to yellow. The bed with the Zak Haze seems to be fine. My soil sample was derived, they say 3-5 days for results. Hopefully this will shed some light on what is going on. Here is a webcam shot showing what I am talking about.
Love the webcam idea. Really need to do the same.
Are you still rotating the beds due to the weak PPFD under the fan? Or was that only a thought?
Looking so cute. There will be sprouting going on in those cups.
Yes, still rotating every three days (when I water). I did pick up an HLG-240H-24AB driver. This one should let me kick up the voltage to accommodate for the voltage drop. I haven’t installed it yet…
Yeah, I have six weeks to veg, clone, and sex these little ones.
For what it may be worth from what I remember I had green crack do the same thing , because it is a heavy or very heavy feeder. I believe it took " feeding " them almost double of the other strains at the time. I always tell myself I would rather see an early fade then no fade at all .
Oh and Dibbs
The person I got the clone from didn’t need to feed it extra. My brother didn’t need to feed it extra. I will have to see what my soil test looks like…
Ya my seed experience from 7 years or so ago isn’t much to go by compared to the cut lol Sorry if I missed posts about the cut not needing to be fed extra.
Could still be the case. Both used hydroponics and I’m using living soil. Could just be this plant doesn’t do well in living soil. This is what I’m hoping for…
I just went through my grow logs, particularly looking at my mother plants here are a few key dates and my observations.
-
December 16, 2019 ICookies taken out of quarantine and put it in with the rest of my mothers.
-
August 21, 2020 Mothers moved back into the veg room, already lost four of them.
-
August 30, 2020 Started treating the mothers for thrips.
-
September 29, 2020 Juanita la Lagrimosa died. Blamed the nutrients and flushed the plants. Noted crinkly leaves on ICookies.
-
October 12, 2020 Mother plants yellowing. Blamed the light intensity being too high.
-
October 20, 2020 BlowingUpJake suggested ICookies has HpLVd.
-
November 16, 2020 Mothers showing single bladed leaves, increased light intensity.
-
January 13, 2021 Mothers yellowing when “too close to lights”.
Basically everything went to shit after I took in that ICookies clone.
I’m going to say something that might sound absolutely bonkers. There are actually products meant to finish off tobacco mosaic virus, and it’s been suggested that continually dunking your clones in that shit during the cloning process can eliminate the virus. Things like zerotol and oxidate, which are meant to treat mosaic virus. Not sure if it works personally, I haven’t had a chance to try it. Usually I say get a positive ID on the virus but that costs serious loot, so fuck that.
Had a plant last year, I’m positive it had TMV. Didn’t have it tested, but it looked exactly like it (TMV)
did you find mutterings of a possible treatment like what I mentioned that wasn’t tissue culture? I’m interested in hearing any ideas on curing it.
Never saw any treatment for it in my searches. I isolated it the moment I noticed, to see how it would progress. Turned out male and was the only one to have it, so I culled it. I didn’t want to take any chances and wouldn’t breed with a sick plant anyway, but would a virus be able to piggyback on some pollen? I remember that thought crossed my mind.
A huge shout out to @ReikoX, the amazing Ghost Rose is here!! You rock it! Thanks a lot!!! Love OG!
