I like that youā€™re trying cootā€™s mix in smaller containers, Iā€™ve been thinking about doing something like that recently. What would you be feeding them to keep them going in those pots?

I usually supplement with fish emulsion and homemade ferments. This time I tried water only. Next round will actually be Jackā€™s 3-2-1 in coco croutons. Doing a lot of small pots to find the autoflowering JLO.

Iā€™ve grown with cootā€™s mix in three gallon pots, both with a brand-new mix and some twice- or three-times recycled soil, and it worked fine. The only drawback that I noticed was that I sent in a soil sample for analysis (this was soil that had been used for like three or four grows, mind you) and there was a lot of salt in it. I dunno if that had anything to do with growing in three gallon containers or not. I always watered those three-gallons pretty heavily, decent runoff, and honestly, I donā€™t use ā€œsaltsā€ of any kind, so I dunno where that came from. But itā€™s something to consider. Probably if I had just flushed the shit out of the soil while it was recycling, that would have taken care of the sodium.

Iā€™ve actually gotten the best yields per gallon of soil in those three gallons, close to or more than an ounce per gallon, although I donā€™t and wouldnā€™t use three gallon pots anymore. I probably used more SSTā€™s (I was pretty big on the SSTā€™s back then). I recall always doing one TM7 foliar religiously in veg, too, like around day 40 or so, while the plants were still in their half-gallon containers. But other than that, I donā€™t think I did anything ā€œspecialā€ or anything. I just let ā€˜em growā€¦

I guess Iā€™m the only one who doesnā€™t know how to sew. They are awesome but I couldnā€™t make them myself.

Iā€™m horrible at sowing. Just gotta take my fiance out to dinner and the deed will be done though

Edit Tbh Iā€™ll probally make mine out of wood. I like wood

Couldnā€™t you use staples instead of sowing ,

I wonder this same thing with making it out of wood. It made me wonder thou if the wood would effect my humidity thou due to absorbing the moister? If so would it be enough to even matter?

Glad Iā€™m not the one that always reads it that way
