Im actually over on southern part of LML, though have family over on the island so I make the trip frequent enough Landing in Nanaimo then going north, the lady has extended family in Nanaimo as well so we stop by often enough.
More of a northern and central BC resident though or at least until about 5 years ago, so island bound or back up north for me eventually though is good where I am for now.
My mom has actually taken an art class taught by Roy Henry Vickers and we have that art she did up north at the family cabin.
And only roughly on Poole, been to the “Botanical gardens” right beside his old place about 5 years ago but that about it.
