Recall a while back I did a PAR map and had a dark area under the left light. I took some wattage measurements and noticed a wattage drop due to my remote drivers. I ordered some AB drivers so I could increase the voltage to compensate.

My 240W drivers measured 135W, 135W, and 200W from left to right before the swap. After swapping the left driver and adjusting it they measured 200W, 135W, and 200W.

My 120W drivers measured 100W, 90W, and 100W. Since the PAR map was still high in the middle bed due to overlap, I decided to swap the middle driver. After the swap they measured 100W 67W 100W.

I went ahead and put down the rest of the dichondra seed and covered it with some barley straw. I wet it down with some saponins and Cytoplus.

Solo cups are starting to develope more flowers and resin. I will probably have to start watering them twice a day now.

Looks like my spraying is working. I was afraid I started to spray them too late, but these lowers are starting to form flowers.

How long did you veg in beer cup?

I think they were in the beer cups for 4-5 weeks. Then they were in 1-gallon pots for another week or two before I transplanted them in the beds.

EDIT: Just checked my records. They were in beer cups for 7 weeks. I had overwatered them and stunted them for a couple of weeks.

I made a new PAR map yesterday to see if the adjustments I made helped even out the intensity. As you can see the left side got boosted quite a bit. I still have the area on the left that just happens to be under the 16" oscillating fan. And the area on the lower left is from the open door when taking the measurements.

Is that for a home made light? I’m trying to read up on it. Is see it now. How hard was it to make? Your growing looks great to me. Your doing something right.

Yes, this is a my light setup in my room. This one I over engineered so it was quite difficult to make.

It is very interesting. I read a lot. I give more for nice pictures. I know it takes more work. Is what you said. I think the numbers are good. My small lights run 600 in the middle. I’m happy with that.

Dropped 10 GWK x JLo and 10 JLo F3 seeds last night. The plan is to pollinate some female GWK x JLo with the female I’m currently reversing. I plan to reverse the female JLo F3 looking for a suitable candidate for the F4 generation (Juanita leaning).

To the Free Seed Friday winners, sorry I’m about two weeks behind getting cards out. I’ll try to get everything out this week. It’s been quite busy at work lately, not to mention home and personal life.

Man @ReikoX get your shit together! I EXPECTED those free seeds (free to me, costs you a couple bucks) in my mailbox like yesterday!

But seriously, thanks again for always having such an awesome, information PACKED thread!

I know you have gotten more than a couple people started in their lifelong quest of cultivating our herbal ally with your free seeds!

Both OG and Starship Earth are better for having you aboard!

Thank You 1x10^6

Also, approximately what fraction of the GWK x JLO do you expect to be high CBD?

I was trying to think it through but then my brain started hurting… will there be any correlation between the 1/2 that are auto, and being high CBD?

Finally will the 1/2 that are “photo” be Pp heterozygous?

Extra credit, what is your W/ft^2 in your grow room that is getting you those PAR/PPFD values?

0.001254368% :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: CBD doesn’t exactly work as a single allele controlling the CBD synthase. Even plants that have the CBD synthase produce some fraction of THC. Anyway, the “grandmother on the dads’ side” to these plants was a 1:1 cultivar. Plus it was an open pollination, so it is impossible for me to guess.

That’s right, the mother only had recessive genes to give.

I just recently adjusted everything, so it is roughly 40 w/ft². FWIW these are the older LM561C diodes I’m running. I’ve debated upgrading to the diodes. But it would be around $600USD to replace all my strips.
