No FSF today, getting ready for the holidays. I do have a quick update though…

I saw what looks like thrips damage on these plants, so I went ahead and gave them an IPM spray.

Bonsai is still alive, I have pinned it down to keep the horizontal base.

Grass Fire OG at day 62. They will come down any moment.

What was you’re IPM for the thrips!?

Lady bugs with machine guns. Lol

It would be awesome if one day you would detail your IPM arsenal…

What products do you use, in what growth stage, for what pests?

So far (since I have been following) I remember you saying you used the SF Nematodes for fungus gnats (I believe you can use this at any time during the cycle as it only contacts the soil, and also the nematodes are persistent in the soil once treated). And now Spinosad, for thrips, in veg. What else are your go-to’s?

Merry Christmas @ReikoX! Your grows are a constant and consistent source of information and inspiration!!!

Typically my IPM is reactionary, but for fungus gnats I’ll use SF nematodes, strateo. S. Mites, and rove beetles at any cycle.

For thrips I’ll use Spinosad in veg only, I won’t spray anything in flower.

I’ll also give the occasional neem oil spray with aloe and potassium silicate in veg.

I’ve just started foliar feeding in veg through early flower, sea 90 for minerals, coconut water for cytokinins, kelp for micros and PGRs, etc.

Try Fusion360, hobbyist license is free and while it’s not solidworks, it’s great modeling software. I had a hacked copy of solidworks for a while
, powerful stuff for sure!

That was my pops… still have a few hundred pens, letter templates, French curves and every triangle known to man. I then taught my dad Autocad when I learned it in HS…

His hand drafting skills were super valuable later, instead of 4hr replot job he would erase and hand draw corrections in minutes… lol.

I graduated HS in 91, so right there with ya on the dos version with keyboard commands damn that was old!!!

Ya all making me feel old!! In HS any second phone line in a house here was a party line, main number was private… people look at me like I have 4 heads when I say I could listen in to neighbors conversations if I picked up the phone lol

Mom did punch cards, still have some around here too…

Love the updates @ReikoX , looking nice in there!!!

Another quick question @ReikoX, how many days do you let your Ghost Rose run for?

Thanks In Advance,
Dirtron

They run around 70 days from germination.

I just floated the ghost rose beans, what is best light cycle for veg and how long?

I just run my autos in my veg room under 18/6 the whole time.

Ok cool I thought you said that somewhere. Thanks.
No switch to 12/12 then at any time?

Not with my autos, they all flower regardless of light cycle.
