Plants deteriorat because of selection, not because of inbreeding or outbreeding
Plants donât care who you pair them up with, uncle, sister, cousins, depression/mutants/runts or any other traits or gene comes from selections.
When you go inside a line and select, you are selecting against nature most of the time, you look for the outcast traits such as trichomes and the potency of them
Non of this is âplant vigorâ related, so within those selections of fine smoke, some plants are runts or semi runts or 10% runts it doesnât matter, the smoke is good so you select it and further the line.
Not all plants are like this ofcourse, I donât think humans can even get down deep enough to verify all the traits this or that plant hold to claim itâs 100% this or that.
Anyway, when you breed for certain things, other things are gonna be left out, naturally.
But most people are looking for the fastest shortcuts⌠just grow the seeds⌠some methods cannot be changed over night and evaluation of generations can only come from growing as much as you can fastest as you can, thatâs always was the main rule, numbers count, selection dictate.
