It took me most of the day before i could write anything. Total shock.
Damn. I attended a friend’s funeral this afternoon and came home to read this. So sad.
Oleskool was great. We traded seeds and talked about Texas author and musician Kinky Friedman. I have a collection of Kinky memorabilia, and Oleskool used to hang with him back in the day.
Following his thread was inspirational when he volunteered to drive from Texas to Colorado to help @GMan. The world needs more folks like him. RIP, buddy.
That’s sad, he seemed like a good dude. Hope his family’s holding up ok.

Wow, this is dreadfully shocking news. So unexpected and devastating I’m reeling with a very heavy heart, and my head is spinning.
I have fond memories of the amusing chats that we had over the phone, although I never had the privilege of meeting him in person, I truly wish I had.
My sincere condolences to his family.
I will certainly miss him and his Texas sized heart
