Rogs' Closet 'O Mystery

I waited for 5 weeks. I had spent 135 bucks of money I don’t really have to spend to invest in a KingLED 1200W full spectrum light. Of course the package got lost, schedules got BTFO, and I ended up mulching 6 clones because the light I thought I would have, didn’t arrive until today.
I have some sour D cuts in the cloner o’ mystery right now, and they are starting to show.some promise, so hopefully, within the next 2 months I can get back on schedule.

Goal - I have some awesome Qrazy Train mothers that finish in 2 months, so I’m aiming to harvest a plant every month. Not sure what to expect with new, more powerful light, but I’m hoping for a qp a month.

So today I believe some “house keeping” is in order: vacuuming, disinfecting, organizing, and such. After that, I’ll probably go through the bean collection, and see what sounds good.
Sour d cuts are still alive, so thats good. I had 3 QTs and 3 Sour ds in the back yard (yay Colorado!), but some dick smoker jumped the fence and took my largest QT(boo Colorado! C’mon man! Grow yer own!). The next day, I said fuck this, and cut everything down, taking 6 clones of the sour ds, as I still have some QT moms.
Unfortunately, they had been flowering for about 6 weeks (I hope the fucker that ripped my qt gets horrific paranoia.) The flowers that were still on the cuts are starting to finally go away, so hopefully these cuts will revert and root before perishing.
Anyhows, thanks for reading, and more to follow…

Shitty deal on the ripper man. I guess some people are too lazy or stupid to grow thier own…

It happens, and I know there’s growers on this forum that have been hit harder than I was, live ‘n learn, I guess. But this definately justifies the investment in new lighting. (Hopefully be upgrading my buckets soon as well)
The sad part was that plant was 5-6 weeks in. Hadn’t even started to pack on any reasonable weight, and was just immature and green. Probably couldn’t have even gotten any extract worth a toss off of it. No excuses, Colorado people. . It doesn’t take any specific knowledge to get started, just a bean and some space, so get crackin’ 'n grow your own!
M’kay, I need more coffee.

I agree that is a dick move. It’s like dude… Ask me… I’ll smoke a bowl with ya. I’d probably even give you a bud. But, don’t cut the smoke before it’s even ready to harvest.

That light should work fine even tho it’s a blurple light. When I first dove into leds I ordered that very same light. I’ll look for pics of when I was using it. I ended up giving to a buddy of mine for a 2x2x4 wood cab I picked up for him to mod and grow in. It works great for him as well. He did have a string of leds go out on him tho. By my math of usage it’s still been under a years worth of use, so you may want to plan on a better light.

I just built @toastyjakes an led strip array for his 2x4 tent. Pretty sure it cost him about $150 in parts, but now his tent us booming.

So the clean up day went well: cloning/veg half cleaned, sprayed with a lil bleach, organized, ready to go.
Flower portion presents a problem: Decided to let the new lamp run for a couple of hours…came back, and there was a significant temperature rise. LEDs run cooler, but its a 1200 W LED in 2 X 6 foot space. I haven’t really had to deal with a temp issue since I switched from HID to LED. The light I’ve been using is just a no-name 90W UFO I bought years ago, but the light just won’t give up! I love it!
It is a tiny flower room, so I’m thinking a 4" inline? Around 100 CFM? Like I said, I’ve not really had to worry about it for awhile.
I also need to find my camera. The shitty picture I posted was from my shitty phone, so it’s pretty shitty. I can improve on this.

My wife is frightened of hairless cats, and won’t let me get one. I have no idea of why she’d be afraid of 'em!

Heres a pic of my buddies cab with that light minus 1/3 of the strips that burnt out. It’s a citral Glue x GSC fem cross I gave him, running in Mayan aquaponics lol. I.E. the living soil pot is suspended in a fish tank with some of the aquatic grasses, fish, and snails he grows.

Looks good! Knock on wood, I’ll be able to generate some fat honkin’ plants.

Is that a difficult thing to do, or does it kind of take care of itself once it’s started?

So it’s been about a month.
What has happened:
Sour d cut’s perished…just too far gone.
Was able to get 3 out of 4 QT cuts to root. Took way too long to root, but I believe that was due to my inexperience using a brighter lamp. Had to move the cloner to the outer limits of its area, but the response came within days. Started them on a light dose of GH MaxiBloom today.
About my fertilizer choice: it’s a throwback to OG1.0.
Someone (sorry, it was many bowls ago) had a thread about results using MaxiBloom, and if any of y’all saw it, you know the results spoke for them selves. It was also recommended to supply the same nutrient profile as the good ol’ “Lucas Formula” thread. I tried bunches of stuff: ph meters and calibration rituals, ppm meters, fucking around with ph up/down. The more variables I added to the mix, the more catastrophic things got. Keep It Simple Stupid is now understood. Use MaxiBloom as directed, issues resolved. When flowering, I’ll add in some Kabloom.

Still no luck on the camera. I have one, just no way to get the files from the camera to the 'puter. Still working on that.
