Yep your right. That’s what it’s called. It use to be prescribed for gout and yes the shot will kill you, but many I know swears by it if used properly

Yep and it has often been used to make polyploids In horticulture. In cannabis the manipulation and doubling of chromosomes can sometimes double the oil production. They won’t breed right and are often hard to clone.

More than two chromosomes in the pairing. For example, Blackberries go into 3, 4, and even more chromosomes to make a particular trait. I believe the trait for being thornless is a trait that lines up three recessive chromosomes, a real pain in the butt to breed for.
Then some varieties can self pollinate, others need to be cross pollinated by a compatible variety.
Or, with animals, it’s a bit different, as they usually are sterile.

Polyploidy = having more than two paired sets of chromosomes. Verses diploid, meaning they have two sets of chromosomes—one set inherited from each parent.
There is alot if interest in polyploid varieties of cannabis for various potential benefits but im not a fan myself
For large commercial out door grows this could be interesting because you can creat seeds that will produce plants that are not capable of being pollinated. In a world we’re alot of peoples large out door grows are pollinated on accident due to neighboring farms those beans would be rather appealing.

so hi I’m in search of knowledge so I know STS is good in the fridge in a lightproof bottle for amonth or so what I was wondering is are the 2 parts once you add water ar they also only good a month like unmixed but water added you arē supposed to add 500 ml to both then mix then dilute so then both the sts and the stock are good for a month what if you added the 500 ml to eack then just measured 50 of each to make the sts is this doable feasable or no

Yes, the unmixed solutions will last longer. The real key is distilled water, or reverse osmosis and distillation.

Hey, has anyone had any issues germinating any of the shiskaberry seeds received from the first sebring store drop? I gave my buddy 4 of them along with 8 other seeds, all but the 4 shiskaberry have already poked above soil, the shiskaberry haven’t even cracked on the towel yet.

Get him to drop them in soil, I had some orange goji that would not crack in water or paper towel even after a week. You put them in soil and 3-4 days later they were above ground, worth a try.
