Seed Run Co-Op Lefthand Everyday Haze (Panama Haze BX)* CLOSED in 2020

Talk about a chunk of a plant. Your making me want to go back to salts looking at that plant.

I’ll report back in a few weeks. I chopped somewhere around 12 weeks. It looks like it could keep going, but I spotted a bit of botrytis so I decided it was time. The trichs are cloudy, no amber at this stage.

You can see it’s definitely leaning a lot more toward that side. I’d call this a pretty MP dominant pheno. She’s a producer though. I even chopped all the lowers, but if I had given her a bigger footprint, it would have been something.

nice @lefthandseeds, sometimes they will just keep spitting new pistils non-stop. Anything 10+ weeks is dedication. Especially sativas that are nute-sensitive. They can be tempermental. Unruly. Growing right into the lights.
Yea, good times lol.
Keep it up LHS bro

A word about Bodhi AG

This is probably the 4th or 5th time I’ve grown Bodhi Acapulco Gold in some capacity. The nug pictured above is Panama Haze x AG. I had to chop it early, because it will probably run 3-4 more weeks if I let it.

AG is a really dominant strain. Everything about this cross is AG, from the classic sativa resin and bud density to the carrot and mango smell. What’s really amazing to me is how AG holds its form in hybrids. I made seeds with this girl, so they’ll be 50% Panama Haze, 25% Malawi/Panama and 25% AG. However Malawi/Panama is also quite dominant, so it’ll be interesting to see what phenos come out, and who is generally on top.

My other basis for comparison with AG is an unnamed cross I made. A few years back, I crossed it to a high CBD polyhybrid called Tenderheart. The resulting plant had beautiful, greasy resin with lots of that carrot/citrus smell. But AG totally dominated the cross, and produced these huge sativa fluffy nugs. I dubbed the strain “heart of gold” and crossed it again to Jungle Spice. Finally, on the 2nd cross, a more equitable representation of the strains involved emerged. I called it HG4, and it came out with a sort of necco wafer smell. To date, it’s one of my most memorable pollen chucks. I’ll pull my vial of seeds from the fridge one of these days and do some work on it to share.

Anyway, if you have these AG seeds from Bodhi, I think there’s some really great stuff in them. They’re not easy to grow, they’re about as far from modern weed as you’ll find, and they take forever. But if you like sativas, I think this is one that seems to be not easily subdued, and will hold its own against other dominant strains.

I did the same thing lol. The thought of all 6000 of those plants, and all of their offspring growing all over the planet is a beautiful thought. Thanks again for doing the seed run @lefthandseeds - you are very generous

Have you run the Zipolite Oaxacan? I’ve got a cross with the AG x ZO

No, I haven’t tried it yet. I do have it, but just haven’t grown it yet. I think it produces more dense flowers and finishes faster than the AG.

it’s funny how nature works that way, you think every think is running smooth(er) and then wham! out of no where… a flying purple people eater, or something similar to that springs out of nowhere! isn’t nature strange and suspenseful and yes, sometimes unique and wonderful?

My 4P haze is is in a large felt pot it looks like the Neville’s Haze next to it. 3ways are next and may be a female or two. Tomorrow morning they all go inside the basement due to weather. So, they should be fine. My two trees in the dirt may be hard to keep alive. I built frames around them and hope I can get them covered in the morning before it gets too cold.

I thought I had pics of the new haze girls. Tomorrow hopefully. All pots go indoors tomorrow morning. It’ll be 40°. Hope my big girls survive. peace
