These are really great ideas. Incorporating redundancies into the co-op infrastructure is a great way to ensure nothing is lost if there are any problems along the way.
If I can successfully complete my maple leaf indica preservation I will definitely keep all of this in mind for distribution.
I would encourage other people to check out this post, and think we should try to use these ideas in as many projects as possible.
I think we have arrived at a good working arrangement for U.S. distribution.
Sebring has offered to act as the official U.S. distributor, and breeders have the option of making arrangements with other volunteer U.S. members to act as a second distributor for additional fail-safe redundancy.
Anything else we can build as the process evolves organically.
Decisions regarding international distribution will be made by the international distributors, as they see fit, whether by group consensus, or by working independently.
The foundation is strong, and we will continue to share seeds with growers and patients, and preserve the biodiversity of a plant which we value and respect.
