Seed storage labeling

They are of different volumes. Be sure to get vials with a large enough volume for your needs.

Here is what 1ml looks like:

That holds up to forty seeds without any space left over.

I’m looking for the ones with the screw caps for a specific packaging idea. The snap caps I find to not be very secure with out putting them in a small bag.

I have never had the top pop open on these 2ml centrifuge tubes. I use these and I am squeezing the tube hard and the top will not pop open. I had to stomp the tube(empty one) with my booted foot for the top to pop open.

Edit make sure they have the interlock lip on the cap.

I have some of the snap cap ones and have been using them for packing up seeds for a while. I put them in a 2x3 zip lock and label the bag. Which works fine. But I’m looking for a more low profile packaging for a up coming project where I’ll be handing out seeds. I’d like to just use the vials with no bags and the snap caps I have that seem to open way to easy. I don’t want them popping open in my pocket or whoever I gift them to.

Here are some ideas for you, different packaging from other seed traders/collectors/breeders. The yellow one is corrugated plastic sheet cut into small pieces to hold seeds.

The corrugated board pieces is a great idea.

They are curing in waiting the last AKs repro, maybe 4 more blood sample vials calibrated. Before finishing in a zip in the fridge for one season max ^^ I think i will invest in a pelican like i see often with seed’s collectors, with micro QR code on caps.
