I don’t really know about getting a pure lavender. Apparently there’s a lot of lavender phenos in bodhi’s Wookie crosses since Wookie is Big Buddy’s Lavender x Appalachia. I don’t believe there are any original Wookie seeds available, but that lavender is pretty strong in many of the crosses using a Wookie male or female.

Big buddies Lemon Larry lavender is the strain I mentioned, he got that male in 2007, and what a stud he is. My profile pick is his banana Larry lavender I hunted myself. Just got another 8 seeds see if I can find a stud that can match that queen. He is the very reason I fell in love with lavender. He doesn’t even have the lavender now, or any of the LLL(t) I believe. A while back he lost a lot of his oldest stuff

I love BIg buddy. Had an incident with a seedbank and he made up for it even though he’d been swindled too. Love his LLL crosses. If you get some Lavender Daydream F2 it. There is fire in there for sure

Last I heard he was not in good shape. I hope he’s doing better. He was really helpful with describing his Lavender when I was growing out Space Monkey and the Lemon Larry Lavenders

Good Medicine F2 update. Day 18F for these 5 (left to right back, #1,4,5 front 6,8)
Second pic is #5 that is the shortest but has the gnarliest smell compared to the softer smells of the other 4.
All in all coming along nicely @nube

Looking good. What’s the gnarly smell? Looks like they’re about to start drinking quite a bit more.
So you got 5 females at day 18F right now. How many females did you get out of the other batch?

Can’t quite place the gnarly smell. Lemon lime Chem funk? All 5 are similar, this one is just sharper.
Second batch at day 8F got 5 females so far, 2 males and 1 unsexed but likely male. Great ratio! 10 of 13 female.
I want to use 1 of the 2 males for a targeted F3 on the #5 and I have a question about them. I can provide pics tomorrow but they are both very similar to #5 in stature. Both males stack, hard to tell them apart other than one has alternating nodes and the other one has symmetrical nodes. I guess my question is should symmetry play a factor in choosing a male?

That’s a great ratio! You’ll be spoiled for choice! If only we all had it so easy. lol!
About the males, I say choose the one that speaks to you. When chucking, I don’t think there’s a wrong answer. Or, even better, just use both! 
Another perspective is to find the females that provide you the best effect for your tastes, then go through a bunch more seeds to find some males that look/smell/flower similar, kinda like you’re doing. That’s tough if you haven’t smoked them cuz you can’t pick winners by sight.
But if you want to go that route, I have plenty of seeds and I’m happy to send loads more if you want to keep hunting them.

I’m still trying to work on which cloning method works best for me. Seems like the aeroponic cloner is doing just fine as long I keep it in some low light. I fried the first set of clones by having them directly under the lights 
.
Anyway I’m not sure I will have surviving clones of any of the Good Medicine but we’ll see in a week or so, they’ve been in there for a week now.
All that is to say that yes I probably will be looking for more of these F2 to find a male after we smoke test.
Do you remember the Bodhi Potcast episode where Heavy Daze says his friend had a Good Medicine F1 that was like a face melter, hoping to find something like that

Yeah man, I can see that. There’s one that KOs me every time. Neat effect that makes me feel like I’m moving in slowmo for an hour and then I pass out hard. Day or night. Can’t wait to rerun them seedless! That’s coming up soon…
