Seeds to Weeds : Live & Learn Organic Edition👨🏼‍🌾📝

Thank you thank you :pray:t3: smoke some of the special rosin or hash you got for me

Im trying hard this round to up my nutes and try new things. I really like the gaia green 4-4-4 that @JoeCrowe recommended. I feel like that shit saved my ass this round or i would have been back to yellow plants.

Slow release fertilizer can definitely even out the bumps. Happy Bday! That fertilizer is organic certified in Canada.

I am really hoping to get these kitchen stinks back on track by the time the clones throw roots! If not they will be flowered as is :flushed:

Edit: whatever deficiency it is, it looks like they all have the same one. Ks#2 started, ks#3 is right behind it with brown spots just showing within the last few days, and finally ks#1 is the last to show the signs

Kitchen stink today along with stem shots. Problems seem to be worsening. Interveinal chlorosis is the issue. Could be cal mag def so i have started feeding cal mag at 10ml per 2gal. I would like to do epsom salt foliar spray but i just dont have time at lights off to spray

Does anybody know if there’s some kind of stackable plant risers sort of like this one?

I use these, but they are pretty unsecure when stacked. I only feel safe using one and that only gives me about a 3 inch raise.

I’m looking to jack up these kitchen stinks about 6 inches and then I will lower them as they stretch

Just fed the kitchen stinks

2 GAL MIX 1.8EC 5.9PH
1.5 tsp epsom salt
4ml microblast
14ml fishmix
10ml calmag
10ml activera
30ml LABS
Small dab of BTI

Watered in 8 cups per plant

1.8EC seems high but i do not see any tip burn so Hopefully they can handle it.
Ive added 4-4-4 to the pots 2 separate times so they should have plenty of nutes, not sure why they are going haywire on me. Im going to plop them into some half filled 5 gals and flower them out this weekend. Onward we go!

So i was on another topic about dehumidifiers and i realized they are a huge power draw. That got me thinking what else is a power draw and i remembered i am running a 137w 8” duct fan for exhaust. Looking back i wish i took the time to realize that large of a fan was completely unnecessary but i chose to learn the hard way.

After 2 installs and 2 returns due to cheap 4” and 6” amazon duct fans not having enough exhaust power for the 5x5 i got fed up and i ordered an industrial style 8” exhaust fan rated for 750cfm. The thing is a beast and i have it turned down with a speed controller.

Now that i have the knowledge i lacked then, i realize i could have gone with an industrial style 4” or 6” and i would save on power costs while having enough exhaust power. Its been a long time and i cannot return it so now im thinking do i just leave it as is? Or so i buy a smaller one and post this up on the used equipment thread…

Probably would take a long time for the savings to add up to justify buying a new fan, filter, and duct.

Thinking out loud here ramble over

Oh my god random flashback part 2 this time it finally clicked.

JEDI MIND TRICKS

That was the shit i was sold that night! Not master jedi anything. Wow the mind is strange

As far as the fan, I would expect that having it run on a lower speed would be a lower power draw? But I don’t know much about that stuff. It’s been a long time since I took a physics class on electricity and I probably forgot most of it by now anyway

Anecdotal, but I have a 6” AC Infinity fan. Recently I’ve been smoking more in my grow area so I’ve been running the fan on higher speeds for longer periods. This past month my power bill was a lot higher than it used to be. :man_shrugging:

I leave this 137w 8” running 24/7 i hear people talk about letting the fans run for timed periods but i dont know why? I thought it was a must for smell? I have it set just above the low setting, maybe 35%, i hope that saves on kwh!

This was my first attempt for the 5x5 (very very weak)

2nd attempt (still not strong enough. Idk what i was looking for when i say “strong enough” i guess it wasnt sucking in the tent walls so i figured its no good?)

3rd and final attempt (will suck the tent into another dimension)

With some hindsight knowledge im thinking this would be perfect for the 5x5 exhaust needs and save some money on the electric bill
