Hahah all good, I just can’t help myself from “yankin’ yer chain” as my grandpapa used to say
Haha my grandpop will flat out say “im just bustin your balls”
Yo @JoeCrowe if i keep my rh down i should be fine with these thick ass bushes or would it be smart to thin them out a bit?
Cut them hoes,
Respectfully.
My kitchen stinks are falling from grace here!
Looks way worse in person.
The little voice in my head is sayin “hey chop that fuckers head off before it spreads”
Probably gonna but i was trying something new where i dont defoliate during flower. Im not going to pluck if there is no risk of mold but if there is i probably should
Is it something that is “spreading”? Or is it yellowing between the veins?
Yellowing between veins is usually a def of something, I think magnesium but I’d have to dbl check
Yellowing is spreading and eventually turns to rust colored destruction! Its on all my tops but my bottoms are green as ever! Wtf!!
Anything change recently? Feeding schedule, nutrients used, nutrient line, etc?
The new growth tips look good where the leaves are growing. The bloom plants do look a little down turned on the leaf. Wonder if the EC has risen too much?
Gaia green 4-4-4 is the only thing ive done different recently. I dont think that would be the cause tho it seems like it is mag def severely and i am trying to keep up without overdoing it but im not quite sure what else to do
Uh oh i just added a shot glass of the flower bloom.
Anyway to correct that in slow released organics?
Shit’s so complex with so many interactions between all the nutrients & solution. Could be lockout due to excess from something else, could be that the Gaia Green might not have Mag (idk but check the label)
I would keep a close eye and see if there is any change in the new growth. If you need to leech the soil you just water with RO or distilled until some runs through. Run a quick conductivity test, that should be enlightening!
You think if i just threw a scoop in last night that it will throw off a slurry test today?
Im noticing some slight tip burn so i threw in one last scoop for good luck and was gonna do water only for like 4 waterings in a row lol.
THINKING OUT LOUD
So last year i called the water company and found out my water was “moderate” on the hardness scale so i stopped using cal mag.
Things went well with my purple kush run and my wolf caps and gelatos so far without cal mag.
The kitchen stinks were doing amazing for about 2 months with no cal mag and then all of a sudden the leaves go light green in between the veins and then later turned into rust in between the veins.
I just called the water company again to find out exactly how hard the water is so i can note it this time then i will hopefully be able to determine if it is cal mag deficient.
Tomorrow is the kitchen stinks last day in flower. I was aiming to let the wolf caps and gelatos hit 1 month before i flowered the kitchen stinks but they are at the light and the 2x2 has shown no mercy and is overtaking the smaller legion sour ogee males.
I really hope the kitchen stink clones root. I would love to keep these going!
4grains per gallon!
So i am just past soft water.
Now i am wondering how the heck do i know if that is mostly calcium or magnesium or both 50/50? I guess it doesnt really matter and it means i should implement cal mag for good!
After some more research i think the grains per gallon is only measuring calcium carbonate.
