Best of luck with these especially because they mean a lot to you
I’ve heard that scuffing the outside of the seeds can help increase the germ rate, using sandpaper etc. GLG sent me a nifty little tool along with my first order. It’s a seed scuffer made from like a small film canister (plastic tube the size of a medicine bottle) and it has a piece of sandpaper lining the inside. Pop seeds in, shake it up, and once you see the white seam it should be good to go.
I’ve tried it myself and it seems to help Most recently I got some CBD seeds to pop using this method. Those seeds were 2-3 years old and kept in my desk drawer, so not ideal conditions at all. But they still sprouted after scuffing
Lights off for another 30 minutes in the 4x4 and it got a little too cold at “night”, also causing the humidity to rise — it’s going down and being vented but usually now will be around 70RH with the lung room around 40RH with the dehumidifier. Then aiming for 75-80F or so. This is a recent change. Still dialing!
Too little. Too much. Too hot. Too cold. Just…no matter what happens… don’t fuck up! (awful advice)
I feel you on the perfectionist side. My plants are not perfect right now, lol — far from it! It hurts. I’m learning to accept it and learn — but really I think you’re doing great growmie. Keep up the good work!
Nice! I forgot to close the tent before bed and my “close the goddamn tent” reminder was silenced
Tent has been left wide open for 2 and a half hours after lights off RH also rose to 63% cause the dehumidifier got full in sitting outside of the tent
That is a monster!! It’s so pretty though! I think you can get away in that 3gal, she might be thirsty more often, but she’ll be alright bro. Keep up the good garden man, I love to check in and see this. Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and experiences.
