This is a follow up to the above post I made not long ago about our New Puppy Day.

Watching the Turkeys
All of the fish in our pond are catch and release. They are kind of like pets.
I feed them. For the perch, two gallons of fathead minnows in the spring and another
two gallons of them in the fall. The hybrid bluegills are also fed from April
through October floating fish pellets. Largest hybrid I’ve caught was 13 1/2 inches
which is huge. Largest perch was 16 1/2 inches. All released.

Some wild turkeys that take advantage of the bird feeders. Black oil sunflower seeds on
the menu daily. 137 of them at last count. In that I’m feeding them, they are also like pets.
