That sort of damage only happens one way. A bad termination in the connector.
The bad termination caused excess heat and that accelerates the problem until… 
That said it is on the ‘power in’ so there is a high probability the LED driver is fine. Should be an easy repair.

I ended up calling an electrician buddy of mine in the cannabis world and just as suspected looks like I had some wires loose which caused heat burning the insulation and when metal to metal pop!!!
You are correct @Gpaw i cleaned up the wires and connected them with wago clips and whala… back in business…
This is actually a good reminder to me to do my monthly ‘heat’ check.
Once a month (when I remember…) I check for warm/hot electrical connectors. Plugs power bars, that sort of thing.

Something else another grower impressed on me was the importance of a dedicated smoke alarm and extinguisher.
If you don’t have one keep an eye open for a deal, you will sleep better if nothing else…

Now when you say extinguishers you mean just a regular fire extinguisher correct?
And a regular smoke alarm?
My mom has these can looking things installed over her oven and if there is some sort of flame/fire they let this goo out that is supposed to extinguish flame.
I was thinking about something like that.
I just went to look at it… 
It’s a 5Lb A,B,C.
‘C’ covers electrical and the ‘A’ is regular… ‘B’ is burning liquid.
Most extinguishers are ‘ABC’ these days. The smoke detector is just a regular type. Mount the extinguisher close to the entry point so it’s handy.
I look at it from the point of view “if I got it I’ll probably never need it”…

I do have a abc fire extinguisher
But no smoke detectors
The bad part is I’m gone for 9-10 hours a day
And my grow room is in an outside room from my house.
Good thing I had them plugged in to a surge protector.

Don’t it’s overpriced tourist trap. Usually between 20-60 people in that place. It really should be on the strip it has that strip tourist feel to it. $70 an 1/8th then 20% tax so $84 out the door WTAF!
This is exactly why I started growing.
I smoke one ounce every 7-10 days so you can just do the math in to $$$$$
The only time I go to the dispensary is when I need some cartridges,over at Oasis they have 3 grams for $60- $65 otd with my medical card.
They are definitely a tourist trap.
