what size are we looking for height will be the problem at that price sometimes just before Christmas i found a deal on a 4x3 it has a3x3 flower area and a 1x3 veg area it was 112 CDN to my door it is an 80 incher in height

Just enough room for 1 or 2 plants. Basement ceiling is 80 inches from floor, unfinished ceiling.

Mars makes a quality tent for low price. AC Infinity or Gorilla Tents make real nice tents for a bunch more lol.
This one is 71 inches tall and 420 is coming, so you can probably find a nice deal in the next few weeks.
Edit: my advice would be to not buy the cheapest option. There is a big difference between the “off-brand” and branded options. The zippers on the Mars tents are real nice and have a heavy duty flap.

I think you made great choices for an economical first grow. That is a really good light for its price point and a 3x3 tent will give your plants some extra breathing room so they aren’t all crowded in a 2x2. Can’t wait to see it set up!
