Smokenhike Grows Again

Must have been interesting to come up during that time and to have a mentor.

Last Haffa Haze holding out at 91F, I think it’s close to done. Hard get a read on the trichs.

Going to flower this G13 mom just to have something on the go. SCROG, half power, Jack’s Citrus Feed ? Going for low heat and effort during the summer…

The seeded G13 bud smoked pretty well considering, so let’s see how the sensi is.

I put a NL clone outside in a big pot of Miracle Gro soil with Osmocote too. Don’t think it’ll finish properly but also shouldn’t stink out the backyard, so that’s why I chose it.

Not to knock general hydro I ran it for years . If you get a chance check out plant prod mj line of fertilizer I think you’d be impressed with the results.

Wow 10 days already, time for an update. I’ve been making the most of the nice weather, doing a lot of gardening, road and mountain biking, charcoal grilling…

Haffa @ 99F. Tomorrow might be the day.

G13HP mom, it will be scrogged after Haffa moves out. Soil’s been recycled a few times the runoff was reading 3000 PPM! So it got a good flushing.

Time to press! Haffa.

Coastal Blueberry, oh baby the terps on this one…

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Every thing looking great .

Ohhh I’m excited. Looks great. Looks like a pretty good pressing return?

Yeah. I didn’t weight it, but it smooshed out of there pretty good. Nice way to take care of larf I’d never get around to smoking anyway.

Still haven’t settled on the best way to consume this stuff. I have a boundless terp pen which is alright with a fresh coil but it gets nasty very fast. Don’t want to spend on a fancy setup.

(I’ve never taken a single dab in my whole life but I have smoked rosin out of a pipe)

I don’t like the idea of having a blowtorch on my coffee table.

nice to see some Coastal Blueberry gettin squished!!!
very nice @smokenhike
Does the Blueberry shine thru in the extract?
I need to invest in a quality rosin press one day.

Yeah it’s very berry, going to be tasty. Like the press, regret the price. But it can make something nice out of leftovers that wouldnt be worth running for bubble except in a mixed batch, and will hopefully last for a long time.

Haffas pretty terpy too, something like fuzzy peach candy if you left it in a gym sock for months.

Blow torch and strong drugs, not a good combo for me either plus I don’t need so much THC to get where I want to be.

Sandwiched between some buds in a vape isn’t bad but it’s not “pure”. I’ll try a pipe too, or some other gizmo.

That’s understandable, especially if there might be kids around…
I keep mine in the bookcase… (no kids, …ok, maybe one…)

Cheers

I keep mine spread across the property, but they’re mostly for charcoal and pipes and stuff.

100F Haffa Haze, wet trimmed on the vine just to try something new.

And I guess this is what shutting down for the summer looks like. I don’t love the net, but it’ll have to do.

Coastal BB rosin was indeed tasty and it gave a nice slap to the head after a long weird good day.

Looks like she’s turned out pretty sweet.

It’s weird shutting down. Even if it’s just scaling down.

Things look great in here as usual bud :+1:

14 weeks of flowering is no joke… Definitely interested to hear the report on that one when the time comes. Looks like you are actually making that trellis net work despite the large squares. I tried to find ones with smaller squares, and I tried a few different things but ultimately just gave up on it.

I agree for sure. I’m on a total break right now and slowly coming to terms with it.

Be winding down for summer also .

That Haffa looks cool af @smokenhike can’t wait for the smoke report.

I will never shut down in summer, I don’t know how many years/months I got left on this spinning rock & I’d like to spend the rest of them growing weed :+1:

I get the impression most nets suck unless you DIY something. Some garden wire to divide the squares might help it suck less, hmm…

@Foreigner here’s a nice diesel trucklet for you. Might go for a look but it’s pretty far gone for that much. And yeah I’d say the Haffas turned out pretty sweet.

Growing is one of the finer things in life for sure, but sometimes it’s nice to have some downtime to recharge the batteries and make room for other things once in a while. Time passed, time left, choices made or not… Definitely spend way too much time thinking about that.

rabbit pickup… wow that’s a blast from the past… and 6500 bucks … pricey!!!
I guess those will be total collectors items these days

Yeah, interesting but not $6500 interesting. Everyone thinks their clapped out old shitbox is worth way more than it should be these days, pretty slim pickings out there.

Been watching for a diesel with a stick in decent shape, even slimmer pickings.

I didn’t notice 14 weeks at first glance but that’s longer than I’d have expected. Different phenos I guess. I hope it was worth it yield wise. Pics look great for sure and I’m glad it’s worked out for you.

That is a hell of an awesome truck. If I were a car fixing guy I’d be all over it. But “rare parts” and “kinda sorta has brakes a little” and “has huge holes in the floor” are kind of deal breakers for me. (Doesn’t mean i still don’t want it :face_vomiting:)

We just put a new stereo in our 2010(?) TDI and at first I thought it was a silly idea but it’s like the old girl was given a facelift. Makes a big difference and since the goal is to turn over 500k eventually I don’t think it’s so crazy.

I’m shutting down too and I I agree sometimes a break is even necessary what annoys me most about it is that it’s not my decision this time.

Re: existential angst and introspection…yeah.

The other 2 went only 10 & 11 weeks. Nugs are dense, didn’t weigh 'em though.

Brakes and floor holes I can deal with. 15 years of mouse piss and chewed wires, not so keen on that. I like the Dudeism bumper sticker, now there’s an ism I can get behind.

500K is doable on a TDI for sure, see them in my searches pretty often. Rust usually takes out my cars before the engine goes, around here.
