Smokenhike Grows Again

i have an 89 cherokee 4liter gasser and a 91 dodge ram w250 4x4 with the cummins 5.9 12valve diesel. That old 12valve has zero computers … I pulled the abs controller an bypassed the rear brake regulator so that was the only thing close to a computer that she has in her. She needs a new stereo system and I’m pulling the box to flat deck her. Got fresh fenders and inners that are OEM parts and a fully stripped cab outback that is real nice. Supposed to be a million mile motor that cummins 5.9 6B…we’ll see… gotta kill that rust early!!!

Nice machines! Those Cummins sound so good. That’s another one that’s hard to find stock-ish and cared for. Would love to get into something like that if there was room for the extra bits.

Tough to beat the rust with all of the road salt they use here. Washing the underside helps, but in time everything rots out. Might try Krown or Fluid Film on the next one, see how that does.

Some good tips here on the stereo install

We got our mechanic to install the stereo and when he hooked it up everything worked…except the music.

So we went back and he couldn’t figure it out but Mrs Foreigner used her computer wizardry to find and fix the problem. He didn’t charge us for the install because he felt silly that he didn’t figure it out but we did.

We had some other regular maintenance done at the time so no big deal. A good trustworthy mechanic is it’s to find anyway.

I feel for you eastern people do they dip the vehicles in salt?

Just yesterday I saw several 2021/ 2022 various model vehicles that were brought out from Ontario .

That’s friggin nuts how rusty the under sides of them are . Almost every one that got inspected needed rotors were talking 2 year old vehicles that the underside looks like it’s 7/8 years old.
Even the exhaust system covered in rust .

Don’t get me wrong we have salt and rust here but nothing like Ontario vehicles.

Beautiful Haffa Haze you’ve grown @smokenhike.
Am I reading that correctly, that was a “100 day” Flower for Haffa ! ? BudBuster?

I ask because I’ve two outside in SW Ontario that may have to find a way in lol (mid-Nov; we got lucky last year. 2 years running i don’t know about that one)

One of the three Haffas ran long. When the other two were done it still had mostly white pistils. No BBP for me.

I hope yours are more towards the G13HP side. Otherwise… saw a pic once of someone finishing outdoor under clear plastic with a heater

Tried some 10 week Haffa rosin. Seemed pretty clear, focused and relaxing to me. All in the head but not racy. Nice.

And yeah that damn salt… been using Fluid Film like anti seize on some stuff lately, works great.

Weekly update time.

PeakSeedsBC NL gro-ing like a miracle.

Bare G13HP flipped a few days ago, it’s doing OK on the Citrus Feed. New growth looks good, old growth a bit funky.

100F Haffa Haze squished very nicely… Settled on a Divine Tribe Lightning Pen, perfect gizmo for my rosin needs.

Apparently Kale is a biennial. This one grew back from a stump over winter, gonna have a lot of seeds. Don’t really enjoy eating it, but I like how it grows.

Thanks for looking.

That press yield looks massive… :muscle:

I had a Divine Tribe atomizer for a while and I never had any issues with it. Seems like they make quality stuff.

Yeah I’ve only ever heard good things about Divine Tribe stuff. The Lightning Pen hits nicely, perfect for a lil dab or two. Quick swipe with a qtip and it’s clean for another one. Only downsides I can see… it will spill if you tip it hot, and the chamber is small for heavy smokers.

Indoor G13HP is at 15F, nice lazy growing. Tap is about 175PPM, been adding Jack’s Citrus Feed until 700 then a pinch of gypsum and a few drops of PH down to about 6.5.

Something’s been munching on NL outdoors, maybe earwigs ? But it looks pretty good.

Also, trying to kick the caffeine again with Wean Caffeine.

I remember caffeine pills from back in school but we used them for the opposite reason.

Also mrs foreigner brought the grape/goji up to the cottage and she tells me our room stinks of weed. It’s only a few grams. I tell her I will do my best to acquire less stinky weed. (But I’m lying I have no intention of doing so.)

Yeah that was a nice one, it’s all I smoked for a while. Shishka’s creation.

Anti-caffeine pills are working OK, not going crazy. Worth the cost, it’s a slow taper and they have L-Theanine to take the edge off. I’m hoping getting off caffeine will help make falling asleep before 3am easier.

21F on G13HP. They are hungry, need to bump up the citrus feed.

NL F2 (left) and Haffa Haze rosin helping me clean the garage today.

I like the earlier Haffa phenos more than this 100F one, it’s more confusing. Still nice up smoke and presses very well too.

The NL has zero bag appeal but it’s the best smoke I’ve found for stress and anxiety, super relaxing. It blew out on the press too, usually that never happens.

Osmocote outdoors is fantastic…

Thanks for looking.

The g13 is looking sweet along with the white puffballs.

The 100F Haffa is confusing in what way? Racy?

Thanks. Wouldn’t say racy though it is strong. Maybe confusing isn’t the best word but I keep spacing out. Going across the house to get something then forgetting why I went there, or staring off into space losing track of what I was doing. Still though, really helping me stay motivated to unfuck the garage.

I have been hitting dabs all day so that could be a factor. wEEEEE…

I’ve been smearing it on the screen of my pipe and smoking it that way. It’s very tasty. But I figured I’d start with the 10 weeker and move forward. Haven’t tried the 100F yet.

But I’m really enjoying it even if I find it a bit challenging to work with. I may have to get a press because of you.

Yup!
Dude plants look great & you’re right NL is great for anxiety. Especially at the 1-1.5hour mark when the high gears down, that calm/chill feeling kicks in & seems to last all day. Love that. It last all day for you?

Thanks! I’ll have to try it some morning and report back. Usually I’m pretty calm through the day I only get out the NL at night when the ol brain starts revving up, or if I smoked too much of something else. The solution to too much weed is more weed, obviously.

@Foreigner it was a tax refund well wasted. To buy at OCS what I’ve made so far just farting around would be 4x the cost of the press. It’s a lot easier on the lungs than flower too.

I think I have a worsening mag deficiency still after pushing Citrus FeED until tip burn. Going to back off a bit to 1tsp/gal and add some epsom to the mix. Tempted to switch to something else, but I’ll see this through to the end.

Got the remote watering setup ready to go.

The pump is on a smartplug and I have a wifi cam in the tent. After 5 days I’ll turn the pump on remotely then Home Assistant will turn it off after 5 minutes. Should pump a bit less than a gallon.

I just broke into the 100F and you’re right, it is different. Not better, not worse, but different.

I really like my pressed hash but it’s so much work that the whole idea of rosin is becoming more appealing.

If I can get Mrs Foreigner into liking it a press could very easily happen. I think she had one massive dab bad experience and she’s a bit off it.

Yeah overall I’d rather have some nice bubble, but I’m bad at making it and I don’t enjoy the process. Dunno why, I liked homebrewing and that’s kinda sameish. Wonder if the uh, not OCS sites have anything decent.

Definitely could be easy to overdo it might be a tough sell after that. Did that in high school with a gravity bong, doing buckets, big milky hit… I hit the deck and had a very weird few hours after. Nobody will be selling me any 2L plastic bottles with a tinfoil bowl to smoke out of, anytime soon! :face_vomiting:

Hello @smokenhike and Greetings @Oldtimerunderground

Happy to report that this BOG LSD is showing some pretty exciting colours, everywhere ! Lol

She has a solid case of dark, purple and red skin gentlemen. I think she means business.

Just wondering guys if this is a normal feature, or some tricky relative?

Regardless she’s a beauty. Thanks again for introducing these sought-after Beans to me.

Looking good out there. I thought I saw dark stems in a few of your pics but I wasn’t sure if it was just the lighting or what. Haven’t seen it before in the parents or F2s. Might be some purple buds in your future.

Thanks for growing them! I can’t wait to see what they do outside.
