When 215 passed in '96, my buddy in Mendocino (Albion Ridge Rd) developed a clone only Snocap, but rumored at the time there were a few seeds? Guy lost his cheese, then the strain. I wasn’t aware until later a Snocap was also being grown in SoHum. Different animal. He was real secretive about genetics, but I know he had access to Mendo Purps and the strongest catpiss strain I ever smelled. Made ya gag.
Same guy grew Sage, Shishkaberry, and a low yielding Pineapple that was crazy yummy. All gone. Powders can cause poor choices to be made.
Haven’t seen or heard it grown in years. Not sure how it would stand up today, but I don’t think that’s an issue. I’ve seen a couple crosses over the years. DVG has a cross with Brandywine I’ve eyeballed. Not sure I want to head down a path of crosses looking for a Unicorn. Got more seeds than I can grow as it is.

I’m on the hunt for it too been a good 3 years now and still looking. I know it’s prob not as potent as things now but the taste and flavor was exquisite. I’ll let you know if I hear anything. Hope you let me know as well.
Has anyone grown snocap from grand daddy purp seeds? Sounds really good but so does all the marketing words to make us buy more seeds.
This strain would come through the circle I would get my bags from I remember it being very sticky with a lemony piney smell to it and it would get you so high off of just one bowl when someone has it dialed in it is a true gem
We used to get it from Humboldt and called it “Snowcrap” down here in SD sometime around the late 90s early 2000s, rock hard nugs with cardboard terps. Could have just been the particular grower but one of my least favorite strains of all time.
Funny! That is where my plug got it from was out in Humbold the one strain that really stuck with me though is the Humboldt County Fire strain that would come through every here and there

Nothing better than green weed. The purple is ok, but green is where its at. I definitely recommend picking up good genetics soon. Things change. Make your own seeds or clones, you dont have to be dependent on anyone to have your smoke for as long as you want to keep it going.
The BOG Sour Bubble Purple Pheno I found was absolute fire.
