just ordered the somango pineapple which is somango x lavender. And the lineage: Somango (Jack Herer x Big Skunk Korean) x Lavender (Super Skunk x Big Skunk Korean x Afghani Hawaiian) sounds like good smoke

That lavender is good medicine. I rarely see it anymore. That body high on it is special.

you think that special body high is from the skunk? there has always been talks of the skunks high not just being long lasting, but a special high. im finishing the last of my super skunk of my cousins cut he grew from seed. seed stock 1990’s. amazing long lasting high, very special body high i’d say fsure so im wondering if thats whats being expressed in the lavender. i got nl5 on my list to get too, i want s1’s or some earlier F crosses. also seeing that it has a very special indica high

edit: hey i also just noticed your wire hanger in the corner of the tent, is that to help the tent from warping inwards running a high cfm exhaust?

My tent was just a bit too packed and even without negative cfm the tent walls were all over the plants. Adding them gave me an extra +/-1” of headroom in each corner. Would definitely be ideal if running negative cfm.
I have a 4” exhaust fan that’s only ever maxed at 2 power with both bottom vents open to pull in more fresh air

I vegged them for a little under two weeks under 12/1. 12 hours light, 5.5 dark, 1 hour light, 5.5 dark aka gas lantern technique. I read a few people said it allows for a faster, easier transition into flower for the plants as you just kill the 1 hour ‘collar’ of light. I found that to be true with the plants I ran. A few folks were saying they were seeing plants finish faster because of this.
Could be a bunch of B.S. but the plants definitely flipped to flower over night v. several days to a week +.
I’m going to keep giving it a go and see if it has much head room

Oh ya ive read all about that technique its interesting. Ime quick flips “smaller plants” always finish faster than a big one vegged for 90 days. Lol im too high to keep up with that timing though id fuck it up, do you keep alarms going. Haha jk

Yeah love the skunks. I am guessing it’s the SS body high and the Afghan Hawaiian brings the floral influence and head high
I heard the NL2 was supposed to still be better than the NL5 but I can’t speak to it myself.
Next spring I am growing the NL2 outside. Going to sprinkle some DLA 5.3 pollen on em.

@Hashpants distributed them but I believe @FirstCavApache64 did the selection and selfed them. @JohnnyPotseed has em over at his store Johnny Potseed’s Hall of Genetics get em 10 fur 10 fems until December 31.
