Yeh, it should have been £2.20, but the woman at the counter charged them as ‘large letters’ because they were 1mm too thick.

The 7 that I germ tested, I didn’t have any space to plant them right now, so I tossed them in my sunflower pot outside, and 3 of them are above ground now.
I didn’t even poke them into the soil, just tossed into the pot lol.

Just a quick update.
I was trying with the idea of creating a new thread for my next grow, but decided to just rename this thread and keep it as a continuous thread for all of my future grows.
Quick round up of what’s happened this week, after chopping and drying (I have to dry in the same tent that I grow in), everything is jarred up and curing nicely. My Fiancé is absolutely loving the Purple Diesel Daze, and I gave my Brother a sample of the Durban X Zkittles, said its the fruitiest smoke he’s ever had. He’s been smoking for 25 years now! So that’s a good recommendation.
This evening after work, I gave the tent a quick clean, hoovering out any debris down the sides of the fabric bed and wiping down the tent walls a bit.
I’ve also removed and stored most of the top mulch layer. I had only used such a thick layer to combat gnats, and now they’re gone, I don’t need so much. It was great to see so many worms wight up there in the top layer too.
I reamended with (no exact measurements, just eyeballed it) Neem, Gypsum, Basalt, Kelp, Fish Meal, Aloe, Alfalfa, Worm castings, some extra pumice and malted barley powder.
I loosely mixed this into the top inch or so of the bed, Sprinkled a decent fist full of cover crop seeds and watered in with 6ltrs of water.
Now that I know the set up works, and honestly it’s performed better than I’d expected.
I’ll be looking to pop something from this list.
I’m still undecided wether I should go with fems or pop a Bodhi pack

Can you tell, I spend most of my waking hours procrastinating or wondering “what if?” 
I’ll spend the next week mulling it over, and the probably flip a coin or role a dice to decide.
I’m very tempted by the DLA 4s. And I do have 13 of those beans. So I could potentially pop 6 and hope for 3 females.
The Sherbet x Wedding Cake is CSI, and I’m really starting to like his work recently

Had a couple of quiet weeks on the growing side of things.
But been mega busy with life otherwise though!
So here’s a bit of a dump from the last 2 weeks.
Smoke reports
Durban x Zkittles.
Aroma on this as it cures is just straight up sweet tangy grapefruit! Which translates well to the smoke too. Flavour that just coats your mouth on every draw. The high is quite a quick onset of heavy behind the eyes, lie down and fall asleep watching TV haha. This happened to me, my Fiancé and my brother when we all smoked it. After an 1hr nap the high was a more ofna full body, floaty type of upbeat high. But this didn’t last for much more than few hours. Which I don’t mind too much as smoking another joint would be a pleasure.
If I wasn’t so busy with art project’s right now, I’d test drive it in the morning, see if it still makes me sleepy then. But unfortunately I can’t do that right now.
Purple Diesel.
While this has a very sweet aroma to it, on the smoke it’s pretty much all earthy and fuel with only slight bit of that sweetness coming through on the back end. This was a really chill high for me, a lot less sleepy than the other. Making my thoughts quote introspective and I think this could be a food one for end of day wind down and putting the days events into perspective.
I’ve also picked up supplies this week for making my own STS spray. Which I’ll be using for some S1 project’s and also some crosses in future.
New stickers and plastic pucks also arrived for any seeds I’ll be sending out. The new sticker designs mean that the pucks will be sealed with the stickers , I’m glad I took the extra time designing these as they work really well, and look pretty good if I day so myself.
And finally, the cover crop is coming through (barely, rye, crimson clover, basil, parsley and coriander) and in about 1 weeks time I’ll start soaking some beans for the next round.
I’ve decided to go with
Cherry Soul by Trichome Jungle.
It’s a cross of Bodhi’s Soul Mate (wookie dom pheno) reversed onto a Cherry Cookies.
I won these seeds from Banana Man via his IG, so I feel its only right that I grow them out and show some love for his generosity.
I’ll also be making some S1s from these if all goes well.

He was kind enough to send me a bunch of his Cherry Spice seeds too, so I’ll probably be popping those within the next year and seeing what they bring to the table!

Time to get this next run under way.
I had a hard time choosing what to pop, with such a limited space right now, I decided to go for 4 of the Cherry Soul from Trichome Jungle.
Soaking today, in next 24-48hrs they’ll go into paper towels and then the stater cups.
I also picked up a micro tent (the smallest tent you can possibly imagine
30x30x60cm just to keep some cuts in and do a couple reversals.

After aprox 36hrs soaking, and 24hr in the wet paper towels, all 4 popped their tails out (one slightly shorter than the rest, the #4)
I mixed up a blend of compost and perlite in a tub.
I added a blend of Neem, kelp, Gypsum, Basalt, Alfalfa and Mycorrhizal fungi to this, filled the cups about 2/3 full and then topped off the cups with a 1-2cm layer of worm castings.
All 4 were misted down with dechlorinated water, placed on top on the mulch, and covered with a dome.
Lights are up at around 280ppfd, but with the dome, that’ll be lower inside. I’ll keep an eye on them as they sprout and adjust hight/intensity accordingly.
Temps are sitting at 70f 22c and humidity hovering around 75%.
Excited to get this round going.
I havnt grown Cherry cookies before, but have a bit of experience with the Soul Mate. After talking to Banana Man (brilliant name!) I know the cross was made with the wookie (B) leaning pheno of Soul Mate. So I’m expecting some stocky plants with thick buds!
Time will tell.
