I used to get tons of Sour D in the late 2000’s to maybe 2015 from some folks i met snowboarding at Hunter Mountain. Didnt realize the significance at the time lol way before i grew but they were known by us as the sour diesel people because its all they had, and i would see their sour turn up with tons of local dealers in that area.
That being said, i never remember any herbs and spices. Very skunky gassy smell and taste can’t remember anything about lemon, but certainly no herbs and spices. Also sounds a bit mellower in terms of effects than what i smoked.

To keep this post on topic. The new AJ’s is realy nice. I did a shit job on my first run in coco with it and it’s still a soli smoke. This run wi be better.
Cool pics! It passes the initial sniff test lol. That skunk bud structure is very reminiscent of the sour D i used to get around Hunter Mt. It was always very pointy lime green nugs. The lowers looked kinda like little triangles lol
Id bet 99 out of 100 sour d are s1s. Or came from rezdogs seeds. Only 1 until his seeds popped up, on og 1.0 i dont ever recall there being anything but the one clone only with 12 weeks silver calyxed up buds with peach pistils. real sour diesel smells like gasoline 100 percent with a citrus background imo. I looked up AJ’s new business, turns out his farm is right by my friends dad’s house lol might see if his dad will keep an eye out for flower to sample when i visit. Curious if anyone has seen it in dispensaries?
Side note, its kinda funny but the most diesely and enjoyable sour diesel ive smoked in a very long time was from someone at a festival who was calling it jabs sour d or “just another bag seed sour diesel”

Buffalo in 09 was the last time I had real sour. It very much was the high school high type of buzz. We and my girl finished a quarter dutch master my buddy had. By the time we were finished he pulled out another dutch to break down. Me and my girl were like what are you doing…he replied rolling up . We both at the same time asked…Why:flushed:. We literally didn’t want any more. That had us baked for atleast 3 hrs… honest to God… I really would like that cut to have for personal stash. Nostalgia
