Sour strawberry outdoor grow

Morning @Abbbian

You’re a positive force on this forum, it’s always a great pleasure to send seeds from my collection your way!

And yes there more on the way lol. :innocent:

F**k… After reading what many of you said about smells and tastes, I feel my nose dumb.
Suppose I have to buy some species and try to educate my smelling abilities…

Good growings!

Train your nose! It does take time but once trained the advantages for a grower are pretty amazing.

Thanks man.

I’m happy to have done this seed increase, but I am not done  I’ll be working with sour strawberry for a few more years hehe.

So far I’ve distributed over 4k of them…
You’ve always been very generous with your beans, so if you’d like a few packs, you are more than welcome to them. :v:

Just to make sure,
Did anyone from the sign up not receive their pack/s and was too shy to speak up, pm me anytime.

I did not keep good records in that regard…

I had no idea :open_mouth:
I got my two flips and really appreciated your generosity. I can only imagine all the work in getting 4k seeds out to folks……thanks again

Which list?
Suppose that if I didn’t know, then I was not on it

Looked and… Post 106… And no, not me there!

Happy growings!!

@buck90 packaging wasnt so bad, it was labeling each pack and writing on every envelope that was a pain.

I really should get a printer

@Piter it was all wrapped up before Christmas. I was supposed to make a round 2 but in the end decided against it. Im stashing a couple or 3k for 10+years, and will pop a few k myself to find parents for the next generation/keepers That + the sign up account for most of the seeds i made.

I still hold a 2018 original pack im going to f2 en mass, so its only partie remise

Well, it’s not gonna be like @Mithridate ‘s thousands but… more BOG Comin’!
I moved two of the SS male’s into my drying tent to isolate them and have been collecting small amounts of pollen for a week now. Should be enough for a couple of the little short-season girls and some frozen for later batches.

Forgot to snap a picture, but pulled 65 dark beautiful seeds off the first Sour Strawberry yesterday! Calyxes were getting pretty spread and all the other seeded females are together in ‘Monsoon Hut’ so I’m heading off any floor mix-ups! Still a lot left on her tucked away, 100 would be a nice round number!

Meanwhile, the one female I didn’t seed is starting to fill in a bit. Believe these went into soil about the first of December, so like everything else it’s been 12/12 from the get go. A couple weeks of veg and away they go! It doesn’t give them any time to put on size but seeds are sure ready fast! :joy: Might have to remember this and just do all seed-making runs throughout short seasons.

Sorry, weird phone cam shots!
