So I don’t think I realized there was a thread for this!!! I’ve got seeds for like 200 different pepper varieties that I’m never going to get around to growing if anyone would be interested in looking at my list 🤷🏻

Lol that’s what it looks like. I think it’s similar to like an aji Amarillo… but I’ve got zero notes and it’s been awhile.

Shishito, sugar rush peach, ghostly jalapeño, fatalii, scotch bonnet, naga smooky, chocolate habanero, aji lemon

I only have 2 gallon pots and it seems like some of these (especially aji lemon) might hate having their roots bound. Shishito and sugar rush are prolific. I’ve already taken a big harvest from the shishtio and wow, if you let them get red they get quite hot!

I think those two are the most worthwhile to do indoors so far. They’re early and not especially temperamental. I’m looking for a good pepper for pepper flakes and powder. I’d hoped the Fatalii would do a little better in my setup, but I might need to keep looking. That’s the heat level and flavor I like for powder.

The fruits grow smaller in the 2 gallon pots, but the sugar rush peach are still a good size. The shishito is prolific enough to make up for it.

I have noticed a lot of peppers are sensitive under potting, getting worse as you get hotter or wilder.

The sugar rush peach is a really fun plant. Similar to the shosito in that they heat level can vary a lot fruit to fruit. It’s my wife’s favorite pepper, so I run those yearly.

I’m really impressed with the fruiting on those. They’re doing really well in my small pots. For indoor growing to make sense, i need them to be fairly prolific and so far, they are some of my best (with shishito being up there too). Most of the other ones might be outdoor garden plants only.

I’m gonna keep testing out other varieties, but I’m impressed with those and I’ll probably keep growing them.

Just stumbled across this thread and I’m happy I did! Itll take me a while to fully catch up but I started veggie gardening a handful of years ago growing peppers, then started some tomatoes and last year added beans and eggplant to my resume :joy:
I realized with all I was learning about gardening growing my own weed plant couldn’t be too hard, right? Well first crop down about a month ago and she smokes great, now I’m hooked and have 2x 2x4 tents and after I start this years peppers and other veggies in the “Veg/veggie” tent, it’ll be a veg tent till next spring :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I’ve gotten better and better at growing veggies every year and there’s much more to learn, the cannabis world has helped a lot understanding nutrients and soil health and biology, can’t wait for spring!
Cheers to everyone on this thread and I’ll be following along too!

You guys are nuts, I tapped out with the Trinidad morgul 7 years or so ago.
1.2 mil was enough for me.

One day, maybe, if I stop growing my plants, I can have a garden like this. A fella can dream.
