Sprinklememaynee's Silly Grow Adventures

Could be, but it’s tough to tell. I’d wait and see if it gets more clear. If you start seeing multiple little bananas, or full-on balls starting to form, you’ll know - and you should still be able to catch it before they drop any pollen, if you’re looking regularly.

This is crucial. I’ve saved a few plants by regular inspection and removal of balls.

Little bit of a Sunday morning update. We are now just over 2 weeks into flower, and there are certainly some aromas in the tent. I am a little bit upset at not leaving the GDP and the Bubba to veg for longer, but I am noting for next time to let them have some time. Stretch has not been too much on those, but they are coming along nicely.

Pre 98 Bubba

The GDP

Now for the Purple Kush, still seeing balls, but not sure if I am tripping, as there do appear to be some flowers starting. This thing stretched about 3x from flip, so it is literally towering over the other little girls.

Is this GDP male, I have become neurotic trying to ensure I can get some bud off of this run, so I have been on high alert for males.

Thought I would post an update now while I have the time.

This run has been somewhat cathartic, I set out with the intention of really overgrowing my tent, and testing out a variety of the fantastic beans I have been lucky enough to gather.

I started out with 12 plants, and have whittled it down to 5 so far. I had to turf the GDP male this morning, so am currently left with the following

  1. Pre 98 Bubba
  2. Purple Kush
  3. Paralyzed Monster
  4. 2 unnamed plants

I will update more with pictures later, but wanted to take a second to pop in.

Quick update :frowning:

It appears that the Purple Kush hermed on the top two nodes. I should have caught it earlier, but woke up this morning to a pollen orgy. Unsure now as to how to proceed. I think given the parameters and my current situation I will scrub the tent, dispatch the plants and start over.

Its unfortunate, but a fact of growing. At least now I can start my new run and take what I learned with me.

Okay, so I have cleaned out the tent, and let it air all the pollen out and have decided to continue on.

I started soaking the following beans last evening in preparation for my next run.

I have soaked:
3- Sweet Berrylope Haze @Fitzera
3- Shaman Haze @Fitzera
3- Canna Cheese S1’s

will update as we go. I am going to be growing these in 1 gallon pots again
using the following soil mix

  • 60% promix hp
  • 20% worm castings
  • 20% additional perlite
  • 2 tbsp per gallon of 50/50 444 and 284

This is exciting, im hoping for all the best!! I’m planning on running some of those sweet berrylope in my next run as well.
Really interested to see what the Medicine Man male brings to the party. I just smoked one of the sweet skunk hazes the other day and found a nanner in it. I pushed that plant long into flowering and it was a Haze leaner, but no seeds have been found.

@Fitzera check out the tails on these bad boys! I planted all 6 today in cups but using these bags I have seen others use to start. I dialed up the humidity in the tent to 60 rh and it is clocking in at 23 degrees.

Shaman Haze

Sweet Berrylope Haze

still waiting on the cannacheese to throw some tails, but they are on their way for sure.

Thought I would post an update. I have been trying new methods for seedlings, so experienced a little bit of trial and error. I currently have 1 sprouted Shaman Haze, and 1 Sprouted Sweet Berrylope Haze @Fitzera

for good measure, I just popped 2 more of each into a cup and will add them to the tent.

I added the Cannacheese 1:1 to the seedling bags, as they were showing tails this afternoon.
I also added 2 of the Blueberry Auto Regs from @Alaskagrown and 2 of the Timewarps so graciously traded to me by @jessethestoner

The tent is very full this time of year, as I am also starting my peppers, tomatoes, and pepperoncini’s. In the big pots, you will see that I am trying my hand at growing ginger.

Can’t wait to see what the Blueberry Auto does for ya!

My apologies for the crickets recently. I have been in the trenches of self doubt and environmental control trying to regain my confidence around my tent.

I seem to have dialed in my tent and light, and we are off to the races!

Featured in this run are some Shaman Haze and Sweet Berrylope Haze from @Fitzera, some of the Blueberry Autos from @Alaskagrown, the last of my Cannacheese from @BasementBeans ( I did lose more than I would have liked to due to poor control over my environment), as well as a lone Pink Kush CBD from Seedsman.

Will update at a regular cadence going forward, and am about to start my outdoor run, as well as a 40 plant run up at my parents place. Still trying to figure out the lineup, but will post it all in here.

Happy April!!!

Here we go! Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to update this thing.

Things are going swimmingly! I have really dialed in the environment and could not be happier! Although this is somewhat of a non photogenic stage I am happy with everything.

In very cool and exciting news, I just got my Bokashi Bucket in the mail!

I will post a full update tomorrow, but very excited to get my bokashi on. If anyone has any tips for using the system, please let me know.

Well, my computer finally uploaded the pics so here goes the full update.

CannaCheese S1 from @BasementBeans -After losing quite a few in the struggle to dial in the tent I got some action

Seedsman CBD Pink Kush

First time running Gaia Green 4-4-4 and Powerbloom mixed into my promix, seems to be encouraging some good growth, and I used some Myco when transplanting to the pots from the seedling pouches. More to come, but exciting

In the spirit of constant updates. I have started my prep for a larger than I am used to outdoor grow. I popped 20 of the Lennon/Skywalker x Ghost Triangle and 10 of the cheese dawg from @THCeed going to let these hang out in my tent for a couple more weeks, and then transplant them into their forever homes.

“Lennon”/Skywalker Nice choice

Looking happy and healthy!! I’m very interested to see how the skunk berry and cannalope meld together. I anticipate good things to come!

What an interesting 10 days. I held off on posting because things were going well, and growth was increasing at a nice rate. I flipped to flower about 14 days ago, and now things are getting interesting.

Shaman Haze @Fitzera

Another Blueberry Auto

Cannacheese from @BasementBeans this one stunted for abit, but seems to be playing catch up

I am constantly trying to reflect to inform my best practices going forward, and I think that sticking with either fully auto or fully photo will be helpful going forward. But apart from that, excited to see what comes. I really enjoy using the 1 gallon pots, because it allows me to dive into more genetics and still produce some nice material without having to expand my grow area indoors.

will do an outdoor update tomorrow, lots to see there.

Nice work brother! I knew the berrylope would throw colour but I wasn’t expecting it to be so much so this early on. Very cool. Be interesting to see how much influence there is from the cannalope. She seems to be leaning to the Skunkberry side more so far.

The Shaman Haze isn’t showing any obvious traits of either parent. Doesn’t appear to have the haze type growth or the stretch of the medicine Man. Going to be interesting to see where she lands when she’s further along.

What kind of stem rubs are you getting?
