parafilm worked well for a recent snapped branch I had.
Hey everyone, I’ve got some new seeds here to try from @Josh_Blue at Blue star seeds you’re all welcome to come along for the grow.
I’ve sown 3x star dream and 3x blueberry lemon shake up.
(0.9ec ph6.0)
They’ll be growing in coco fibre and canna ab nutrient
I put them into coco on Friday and there’s 3 showing this morning 2x blsu and 1x SD
Take it easy folks.
Awesome! Can’t wait to see what comes for you. Holler if ya have any questions. I will be following along.
beautiful - love hash.
Seeing this pic made me chuckle, reminded me of an old UK hip hop song…
‘Smoke a chalice in a buckingham palace, get the queen high and off to wonderland with Alice’
Update on flipping seedlings and stalling potting up until part way through stretch,
I’ve harvested dried, trimmed and weighed everything.
The cheese dipz yeilded 52g and 108g
The plants that got a normal 4-5 week veg didn’t yeild anymore, actually the 4 flipped at seedling yeilded the best overall, one yeilded 284g I’ve never yeilded that that much with a normal 4-5 weeks veg then flipping.
Not vegging hasn’t been detrimental in any way, i could easily conclude the 4-5 weeks veg the blueberry twist and cheese dipz got was a waste of money?
I need to look into this more with clones.
For now I’ve got star dream and blueberry lemon shake up started I’ve a similar plan for them
let’s see what happens?
Wait a minute, are you saying you went 12/12 from the very start with photo period seeds & you got a decent harvest of it? I can skip 40 days of veg?
Yes that is the case, due to some unforseen circumstances only the 2x blueberry twist and 1x cheese dipz got anything like a veg period and they yeilded the least?
Eta
The 4 circled yeilded the best.
I forgot add the pic with the 4 circled was the day I flipped them.
Outstanding just outstanding !
Thanks buddy I appreciate your comment it’s nice of you to say.
12/12 from seed works very well. Plants will not flower until they are sexually ready so you get your veg time also
I like large plants, grow large plants, dont understand 14 inch finished plants, lol.
Different here than RUI, im also a member there but never post there, just a kiddie board in my eyes.
I spent two years and more going through a 4-5 wk veg cycle then flowering but throwing most of it away, i only learned about this on my last pheno run, I’m doing another now but that wasn’t planned at the time, at the time i was sick and tired and just wanted to have a couple of mothers and grow 4 clones.
Now that I’ve done it in future I’ll repeat it again, then when I get back to clones I can do a bit of testing to find the optimal, I’m looking forward to years growing ahead.
Plant wont turn till it is sexually mature, so when you do 12/12 from seed plant will flip the instant it is able to .
Depends upon strain for yield. My Haze will go 4-6 Z’s @ 12/12 from seed. over a pound with 3 weeks veg time. All are different.
If you flipped those at that pic stage, thats not 12/12 from seed. Thats 12/12 from what, day 15 to 20 ish from planting?
Were the plants that didnt yield as well seed plants or clones?
I have a decent standard program of 9 plants per 4x4, 30 days from planting seed to flowering on 11 on 13 off. I run around 630w per 4x4 and look for a 4oz average to be a pretty good yield target. I also use coco coir and 3/4 gal pots for this set up. My bigger plants hit 10 oz, which quite surprised me. Also I aim for around 10" height before flipping.
I’ve tried to be clear i flipped from seedling, from memory they sprouted 11/12 days before i flipped them.
All of them were started as seeds, treated in the same except the vegging time and the time re potted to 5ltr pots after flipping.
I’ve got my own standard practice but this has called it into question i yeilded over 2 lbs that about average for a 4-5 veg then flip.
It’s the 1st time i tried this with seeds, normally with clones I’d flip them after a week.
Or thereabouts.
top work Dog.
It’s times like these I think it’s a shame you are so far North
Hey folks, I’m pimping my tent with mylar, I’ve got a Diy reflector made with mylar it makes a worthy difference, with a 720w bar light it increased the intensity 20% at the foot of it falling to 6-7% in the center
I’m going to fix the back wall behind the bars and hang the others like the reflector, they’ll be easier to work with and easier to make and hang.
Before…
After, the light meter on the bucket was reading 4,5/45k lux with the mylar in place and the reflector it’s 6.8/68k lux, I’ve still got bits to cut out and tidy up it’s only roughly fitted in atm.
I’ve read about hotspots caused by flat mylar but I’ve never had any trouble even with it tight up to a 720w bar light and plants right at it, let’s see what happens?
Take it easy folks.
Just got caught up on your journal. I really enjoyed them on the other forum and look forward to you posting some updates on what you’re up to in the grow. Hope all is well and your garden is doing great.
Hey buddy its been a while, how’s things?
I’ve not been online due to some unforseen circumstances.
However … I’ve kept busy with some Khalifa limon blanco, cheese dipz and gorilla glue.
I’ve also flowered some other gorilla glue, blueberry twist, cheese dipz, kush, king gelato and bluchi…
Talking of bluchi (blue cheese x biker kush) I managed to graft some blueberry lemon shake up to the bluchi mother, I’m pretty pleased with my efforts

Edit…if i can upload the full video/s I will
Take it easy folk’s
That Bluchi you grow always impressed me. If you’re ever interested in swapping some snips DM me. I’ve built up a fairly decent roster of clone only stuff I’d be happy to trade. Hope things are going well for you, I always liked watching your journals. I’m fighting a jungle in my veg tent hoping to flip soon. I have Triangle Kush, Trinity, Motorbreath 15, Black Triangle, Blue Dream and Heavenly Hashplant up for this flower run and might try to squeeze in Wedding Cake and or Irene Kush if there’s space for them.
