Strains we miss

I happen to have some seeds of Bullrider S1 x (bullrider x (SBSE x 78))… I haven’t dipped into them and I forget what SBSE x 78 is I will have to go look in my vault notes.
I think I have a little over 60 seeds of the backcross which is maybe enough to find some good ones to make more seeds with.

You sound like where I’m from That’s exactly how we called it when I was a kid back in the 90s in Buffalo. Then came the BC Skunk or Canadian skunk then those fucking Beasters.I’d tell them I’d rather smoke Mexican brick please

The good “kind bud” I used to get in the early 90s. Almost never any name, just kind bud.

But also, Reeferman’s RM38 Hashplant from the early 00s.

I remember some of the brick weed was called Mersh for commercial.I know for a fact it wasn’t Mexican grown the Mexican was by far superior loaded with seed but the seeds were my favorite thing to to back then so it was a win win and it got the job done really fun guerilla grows back then some of the best times of my life running wild back then. The commercial always tastes like Nutes and Moldy basement Not as seeded but smelled and tasted like shit smoking .I was told that stuff was coming from Korean Cartels from Canada.Don’t know if that’s true but I know they were pushing the beastie hard back in the day so make sense I guess Toronto is a half day drive from me.

For me a cut over here known as blue Thai. Was a hybrid but potent as hell. One cone wonder type bud.
Also 96 serious ak47
And tga subcool ace of spades shared seed with a mate who grew one bigger thN a lemon tree. Man that was some nice seriously sticky bud I know some people didn’t like the flavour but we smashed through it in no time.
And Hawaiian indica from. Sensi; some of the nicest tasting flower I’ve had

That’s two Hawaiian indica mentions on here! I’d like another crack at it myself. When done properly, she was beautiful and potent…… put her in a bag even a tiny bit wet and hay!

I would guess 78la affie and sour best shit ever…

’78 OG LA Affie X Sage [Big Sur Holy Weed x Afghani] = SBSE

Heirloom Lemon Thai x ’78 Colombian Gold x ’78 Pakistani Landrace = ’78 OG LA Affie ( according to afficnado)

Dna genetics says og la affie is a pure Afghan
I have fem la Affie seeds from swerve that he says are from a Afghan plant he got from ograskal long ago.
The ones from swerve from ograskals Afghan would be a moontribe Afghan 1 from sensi seeds if people have there stories straight.

I don’t miss anything because I don’t chase trends or try to fit in with a bunch of mids growers.

Anybody tried or have pictures of the Paonia Purple Paralyzer? I just got some of those seeds and would like to know more

@Rico There is a long thread on here somewhere about it, I would grow them out , I passed on them due to having far to many seeds but they are a old heirloom line that many seem to think highly of.

Well this subject has nothing to do with those behaviors but thanks for the input. it’s interesting that you view the idea of missing a strain with chasing trends or growing mids I just can’t seem to justify that assumption, probably some misunderstanding but a interesting one

Anybody have old school real skunk smelling skunk? I miss that the most. I did pick up a pack of Alpha Roadkill Skunk from a friend of mine at Purple Caper Seeds. He said they smell of a putrid rotten skunk carcass. I will be breeding those babies

I remember when purple caper was first getting started , we both used to get genetics from a dude in
San Jose.
