I grew the lemon Kush about 6 years ago. It hermied and my other 3 plants got seeds. I always attributed it to my messed up environment.

Nope it’s known issues with female seeds as a company.

Not exactly sure what it was but its phenos flowered between 14-16 weeks, jeezus, I just wanted my head stash haha. Been wracking my head about what it could be, certain it was a Nirvana strain, was a secondary pack I picked based on the name, could be a heavily thai sativa dominant Juicy fruit.
Made some seeds and just have one “faster” pheno left, 14 weeks, it actually made buds and not wispy fluff. Finicky too, had to cut back so much it had a shit fit and immediately got root rot on the second run, in hindsight, I should’ve been running 11/13 or 10/14, still got one in mom stasis.
Maybe one day when I have so much weed I can wait 4 months.

Anything by PEV seeds. They are all over and shady shipping to the United States. somehow they lost two packages just this year of ours didn’t get shipped here to the United States with no refund just a bunch of attitude I’ll never grow their strains. Northern California Growers

You wouldn’t catch me dead with any of the modern hyped garbage.

This does not include Pure OG or Pure Chem.

I’m assuming it was, just not through him, like I said, got it in a trade.

So that garbage is OK? lol just kidding, sorry couldn’t resist

I mean it’s not a modern day strain. OG kush started on 1992 and Chem 1991.

lol I figured that’s what you meant. I seem to recall OG Kush having origins on the original Overgrow, and I was always told that OG stands for Overgrow, not original gangsta, but perhaps my memory banks are sticky with resin lol

From interview that was posted about OG Kush, OG in meant Original, as the original kush cut, not the crosses made from it. I’ve read the ocean grown title was added after a question someone asked, about if it’s so good because it was mountain grow, and he was told something like “no bro, it’s ocean grown!”. Original gangster was put on when the rappers fell in love with the stuff.

well, I do recall some trading of genetics and a resulting OG Kush emerging from the original Overgrow site, or maybe I just dreamt it. Perhaps some other people have the same memories?

I like that memory and therefor petition to have it declared official Overgrow truth.

Most of us were growing strains from Holland but who knows maybe someone got lucky. Don’t remember an OG Kush being passed. But things were a lot more quiet back then so maybe.

Yea, it was all about what many are now calling old school strains. What I remember the most was the BOG strains lol.

Yes sir. I’m still giddy when I see someone growing his gear. I’ve been licking my lips, thinking about it, all these years. Bog is the man.

He only had a few strains that I remember back in the day.
