StunFlower's Farm: DWC & Soil Grows

stinks.

Keep a vigilant eye and pluck em if you see any. spray bottle of water + tweezers works wonders.

Thanks - I’ll keep my eye out. I’m keeping them outdoors so they have a way to go. They should start flowering soon though.

Finally back with another update. My wife and I were away for a few days celebrating our anniversary and I’m now spending more time away supporting my dad while my mom takes a holiday. My wife has graciously taken on watering duties in my absence, but I got a chance to take a quick trip home to trim the Pineapple Skunk that was hanging to dry, feed the other girls, and snap some pics.

Pineapple Skunk Harvest

I trimmed up the PS yesterday, after hanging her to dry in my small tent. RH was right around 61% and temps were about 68 F. Easy trim and nice sized buds. She returned 107 grams. I’ve grown this strain before in DWC, but this soil grow was much less problematic.

Smoke is absolutely delicious - sweet, tropical (more piney than pineapple IMO) and skunky. She punches pretty hard out of the gate - a nice euphoric high - and then levels out into a nice relaxing body stone.

Both of these plants are looking and smelling just lovely. Buds are continuing to get more plump and ripening. I’m thinking about 2 weeks til harvest. Currently feeding 10ml/gallon of Remo Bloom, AstroFlower, Micro, and Natures Candy.

Mac 1 Clones: Outdoor

The M1 clones have just gone into flower. No signs of nanners yet :crossed_fingers:

The potted plant is well over 60" tall and the groundling is growing taller but more bushy (I did top this one). I sprayed both plants with Safers 3 in 1 to help ward of any mould issues but such a long way to go until October. We’ll see what happens. I still haven’t given the plant in the ground anything more than water - I do plan to feed her but so far so good.

Vegging out with Forbidden Fruit, Jealousy, Sour Mac Clones, Moonshine Cookies Clones

Took the nursery gang out of the small tent and threw them into the 3x3. Seedlings and clones are doing well and all got FIMed when I was home yesterday.

That’s all for now. Thanks for tuning in :v:

Managed to run home to check on the plants and do some maintenance (I’ve been taking care of my dad for a bit). Here’s a quick update.

The stacks are continuing to fatten on both of these girls as we get nearer to harvest. They got their last dose of nutes a week ago and it’s been regular waterings since.

Rub on both plants is super citrusy (sour lemon). Zingy.

Trichs are mostly cloudy on both plants; I’ll wait for some amber before I chop them.

All four plants are doing well after last week’s FIM. I relieved the Forbidden Fruit of a few big fan leaves that were kind of droopy and eclipsing that new growth that lay beneath. She’s the smallest of the four plants but seems much happier since her trim.

I’ve never grown clones before, but I’m very pleased by their progress. The Sour Mac seems especially enthusiastic.

I’ll likely flip the light to 12/12 within the week and get these girls on their way to flowering.

Mac1 Monster Cropped Clones: Nut Hunting

To review, I’'m growing out a couple of Mac1 clones that I monster cropped from a plant that subsequently hermed. We’re a couple of weeks into flower and, sadly, I’ve found my first nut, so-to-speak.

a flamboyant visitor!

I discovered the nanner on the potted plant and so far, it’s the only one I’ve found, but I’m sure it won’t be the last. I dutifully removed it with some tweezers. No sign of nanners on the plant I threw in the ground.

I’m not sure how this is going to go. We’ll see what happens. :man_shrugging:

Plants are looking excellent. Good stuff!

That kind of looks like a calyx to me. Hard to tell for sure, but doesn’t look like a pollen sac. Pollen Sacs typically have a thinner stem at the bottom and then get round/oval shaped. Here’s a pic I stole from google.

Harvest Time! Sour Mac & Moonshine Cookies

Finally back with another update. I meant to do this much earlier but unfortunately I got Covid and have been busy with my new job of filling kleenexes and taking naps

I chopped the SM and MC today. Gave them a rough wet trim and hung them to dry. RH is almost 70% these days so the dehumidifier has been deployed to get things closer to 60%. More news once things are dried and trimmed. :v:
