Sun Clone is back!

Did they come in dirt?

Is that normal? I always see pics of clones in Rockwood or root plugs, but I’ve never actually had one shipped to me.

It was in both, it had some type root plug and soil mix, if I had to guess it there own mix to keep cost down. I’ll create a grow log tonight when I get them into a pot.

We use Jiffy peat pellets and our own soil mix. We can do rockwool, but only for custom orders.

Might I suggest looking into these?
Or something similar.

Coconut fiber is much more sustainable than peat. I quit using jiffy a while back.
I actually think that these work better.

@Sun-Clone

This is just from my experience but for the past 3 years I’ve seen a big increase of clones from Cali having pest like mites ( russets) and viruses (HLVd).

How’s does your facility keep mothers and cuts pesticide and virus free? Also what is your IPM protocols?

@Sun-Clone is your sherbert the green sunset sherbert and not the purple one , have you flowered it yourself , I lost it and have been hunting it for 5+years. If it’s legit I’ll send high regards in all directions

I believe the cut they have is the one from Garden of Green.

Here are some photos of it.

SHERBERT (nextgenerationnurseries.com)

@Heritagefarms Do you know anything about the background on the green cut? Other than Nspecta using it, I haven’t heard anything about it.

@Monst3rbean I’ve always been told there was a green and a purple pheno with the purple being more gassy , I was given clones of sunset sherbert many years ago when it and the gelato’s were first coming around , the ones I had were the green pheno which tastes like a orange cream sickle. The purple one became popular and the green one is hard to get or find. I’ve heard people say key lime pie is the same thing but I’m almost positive that is a different plant made with Durban and cherry pie.

I’m on the lookout to replace my lost Sherbert as well “Sherbinskis purple”. Been difficult finding a verified cut. That Garden Of Geen one being so prevalent it’s all I’m running into. Appreciate your input. Hopefully you can find that green cut. If not and willing to settle for fems CSI has them in stock and black Friday is just around the corner.

The pictures they have of the sherbet look identical to the one I had and lost I might take a chance on sunclone since I can’t order from next generation directly.
My only concern is that they say it is a garden of green strain so is this just a s1 they grew out or some seed line :face_with_monocle:
@Monst3rbean from what I’ve heard the green one is called sherbert and the purple is called sunset sherbert but I originally heard them just referring to it as the green and purple pheno , I’m also under the impression there cuts are not released so unless somebody leaked clones out of a affiliated grow there probably s1s

Isn’t Garden of Green a run-of-the-mill spanish or euro seedbank tho?
They seem to own 3 ‘seedbank’ sites, expertseedbank.com being one of them, haven’t gotten to see what the third one is.

@HolyAngel Garden of Green is a white label company. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were marketing under multiple company names.

@Heritagefarms Leaks definitely happen, and coming a crossed an s1 cut wouldn’t be surprising with Cookies selling Sherbert s1s through their own seed bank. But I remember hearing Berner supplied a few people with cuts. The momentum of those friends sharing with another, then that friend sharing with another and so on. Gets it out there. A good amount of cookie crew cuts are around. The various Gelatos, London pound cake etc. I think the Sherbert just didn’t get the appreciation it deserved. Being kind of an unsung hero, she didn’t get as widespread as the others.
