Oklahoma Clone Company

Anyone growing gear from Oklahoma Clone Company?

Here’s a picture of the Too Buku (Vietnam Black/Thai x Herijuana):

Too Buku has tested from 6%CBD up to 11% and up to 26% THC.

Clones and seeds are flowering all over Oklahoma now and you can find a bunch of the flower at dispos scattered around the state.

Here’s Purp5 flower in Shawnee:

I came across them last night and my interest was peeked

They have a lot of bad reviews, not sure if I would go there myself.

Most of the bad reviews seem to be about not answering the phone or from beginner growers. Did you see the menu?

I did actually look through the menu. I did like a good bit of what I saw.

Yes I did see the menu. Means nothing to me when most of the bad reviews deal with mites, fungus gnats, unrooted clones, small clones and clones with problems. Never purchased there myself but have heard from a few that have that were not happy with what they got.

Interesting @Oldjoints -Genetics means everything to me. But I guess management doesn’t want to pay the bribery from weedmaps to get the bad reviews removed. It seems like amateurs writing most of the bad reviews. I can say their gear is all over the state and you won’t find those cuts anywhere else.

As a grower and customer of clones/nursery plants for years, I learned early on you must quarantine every plant that enters your garden. If I ever get bugs from a plant, it’s my fault and my fault alone. Some folks just need to take responsibility for their actions.

That is true that you should quarantine everything, but I shouldn’t be getting with mites from a commercial establishment. They should have a good ipm to protect their customers. Also, in this state, with mostly amateurs, instruction should be given to quarantine as well. In a new market like this, consumer education is a must.

IPM program in place and all, you can’t fix amateur grower problems. They never stop and ask the mite, “where did you come from?”

And if you quarantine correctly, by spraying your plants, monitoring closely, and inspecting, then you will never introduce bugs into your garden. Pretty simple in my opinion. I learned that very early on. And yes there is quarantine info on the website for beginners.

Dude, your genetics look good, I can’t deny that.

I’m not expert, but most people here haven’t been growing forever. Maybe explaining some of the “rules” would go a long way towards happy customers. Perception is everything in business.

Alot of mites probably get brought in on shoes as well, I am aware of that.

Agree with that 110%! Again, there is quarantine/bring home info on the website.

Problem is, in this state especially lol, no one reads!

Not only do people bring mites in on their shoes, but people love their pets. Dogs and cats are so cute. But they are also travel busses for pests. Keep your dogs and cats away from your grow room!

I never saw you say that. I have to disagree, my poor, patient wife has had to sit through me reading many contracts that most would not bother with. Printed info should probably be handed out.

I also realize you are probably just the grower. Management also will often not listen.

Printed out is probably a good idea. But it seems we do everything paperless.

I’m just a nobody true but it’s a funny thing I’ll tell you. Calls come in everyday from folks asking “do you sell clones?” So firsthand I can tell you, most people don’t read anything. Not even the name of the company it appears lol. You might be the exception.

I think OCC’s primary contribution to the cannabis community is the breadth and depth of the genetic library, which is shared locally at a modest price. Never before have I seen a clone shop with IBLs and other building block real deal genetics. Never before have I seen a clone shop where you know where the genetics are coming from. But yeah, why not a piece of paper too? That would be the cherry on top.

I’ll give you props whenever I saw landrace on the menu, I was impressed.

I sense a little sarcasm, but I’m fluent. I don’t disagree on your points for sure. Most of the world is mainly idiot proofed, which may not be possible in this field. We should do our best to help the newbies out though (I know you can’t read it for them).

Don’t get me wrong. I look at your menu and immediately try to pick 6. I’m not made of money, and clones are expensive, plus a couple hours away. It’s still my natural reaction. Good lineup.

Yea agree I liked what I saw but not having a car/ the reviews has kept me from visiting. But I really like the idea of a little FAQ pamplet with purchase!

I hear that guys. Good idea on the pamphlet I’ll run it up the flag pole. But we’re busier than hell with repeat customers coming in all the time. We’re backordered on our commercial stuff until mid-February and have 20 more strains we’re testing to replace or add to our list. More people post negatively than positively, as you can see in the people who posted, their history is all negative. Not trying to sell you guys on our stuff but I can promise you would only be doing yourself a favor by grabbing our stuff, if you like weed. And if you don’t, well that’s cool too.
