Sun Valley Garden of Grew Some Things

@Sunvalley , this will be a better year for all of us!!! Glad your mojo reset!!! NY Resolution for me, swim daily and remember to breath/ follow my breath… Love you work but most importantly find satisfaction from your works!!! Whether green thumb related or otherwise. Have lost enough friends this year that my gut is telling me “ You only live once, find joy and happiness and ease others’ suffering, that is my path this year!”

@Sasquatch yeah man thats what my friend and I were talking about when he called the other day… that we’d lost enough people around us and that we’re not young anymore. Got to prioritize on our health and keeping close to our friends and fam.
Sounds like you got a good path lined out there bro

Hey brother, it’s been a tough year on us all. It finally caught up to me this fall and I started hitting some low places. I was getting burned out on keeping the plants going, too. Plus spending so much time alone is a bummer, and that doesn’t help anything.

When I first moved here, I had lost most everything I owned. I finally turned things around by helping other people and forgetting about my own problems. It made a huge difference in so many ways. Thinking of others while we also suffer ourselves is transforming, no matter how small it is. But, the virus has even made that more difficult.

I had to do like you and just let things go for a bit. I’m trying to get other things in my life back in the mix and balance things a little better. I only have one new plant in flower, one male, and three seedlings starting, lol. I was letting pot take up all of my time and just needed to tone it down for a bit.

On the other hand, I may get a bug any day and drop a bunch more seeds, but we’ll see. One day at a time.

Here’s to a better year! peace

@GMan Yeah thats one thing a friend said to me today… get someone to come and stay with you. So much time alone is one thing but isolating yourself is not healthy. Was hoping @Funkjunky would have been out here this year but he Rona fucked that up too. His flight literally got cancelled last week cos of this shit. 2nd time now in a year.
I been down that road of losing everything haha sux… funny thing that always stayed was the dogs and the plants lmao… thats fam lmao…
Funny enough i got the seed trays cleaned up today and some coir expanded to do a new seed run… I need to do a breeding soon so miht as well get started now and be ready for when the summer lot come down.
Thanks for the message bro … always appreciate your words …

We all go through it, I think. You know I do and my grows aren’t even epic like yours. 2020 has also been a shit show and has had a weird effect on everyone. Remember to take time out for yourself every now and again. 10 years is too long for some self time. Sounds like you have had a self imposed lock down yourself.

I’m glad you took some time for visiting friends and some cooking and general mental health time though. Sounds like that was exactly what you needed. Now you just need to try that once a week! lol

Cheers Buddy! Happy 2021

Looking fwd to them… 1st time on the sweeties for me. I’ve grow quite a few varieties of tomato and honestly cant stand the grocery store ones at all after all the lovely spoils I’ve had haha.

Got to say it sure was a productive day today. Yours sounded like you were full o beans too hahahaha … fuck bro I’m really looking fwd to all the stuff I have yours stashed around the world :rofl::rofl:

Yeah man must keep in touch … always nice to chat on the phone … I agree that a few herbs around the kitchen are a good idea… besides the cooking they generally keep them pesky insects away too
