Been doing good, moved to Spain. Been waiting on the outdoor pics but I can understand the paranoia of it all. Just my dozen or so in the backyard had me on edge. Keep up the hard work!

Nice one man… I considered moving over there a couple years ago before this place came up. Was about 60% ready to make the big move… only thing really keeping me back at that point were my dogs. No ways I’ll ever leave them … they are my fam. Hope it treats you well out there mate

For supplemental lighting how much would you think the minimum amount of light would be to prevent a plant from flowering? Do you think it could be done with a battery and 10w or 1w LED light?

If it’s just to stop them flowering then yeah wouldn’t need much light. Depending on how many plants and space you looking at… but maybe look at Gas Lantern Technique to save on your battery. Time your lights to switch on at midnight for for an hour then off again… then on again at either 5am or 6am depending what your outside light times are like if that’s what you’re aiming for… but yeah couple simple small led should do

Thanks I may just give the gas lantern a go for an early start to season so I don’t have my plants bud early because that’s a royal pain in the arse.
I just want to keep everything away from the house in case I ever get a visitor

Mate I use $5 85W CFL’s on a timer coming on at 1am works a treat, if you can get a bug net between the light and the canopy it helps a lot. The leaf minors go nuts otherwise

That’s funny, today, I just got home and the railroad is digging out a culvert across the road from my house that got full of dirt and I saw them taking a load to a neighbor. He’s gonna bring me a couple of buckets full he said. It’s black gold. Been sitting there a while. That’s a nice surprise for me. I have all sorts of uses for it. Good times! peace

I’ve still got some cuttings on my kitchen window sill from last year in a glass of water. I made sure the kitchen lights were on so they never got near 12 hours light this kept them out of flower all winter. Lantern technique works too
