The temperatures are about the same where I am just about 12 hours? difference 20 to 24 daytime and 8 to 10 of a night at the moment.
The dirty windscreen just means you are in the country… no point washing too much just to be dirty the next time you drive.

That’s the way to do it. On the one hand, yeah, it’d be nice to have a few people to share and discuss our grows with, in person and all, with a friend or two who gets how awesome and fun growing weed is. On the other hand, all I ever read about is people who partnered up and one of them ripped off the other, absconded with all of their genetics, lights etc etc and just general weirdness, bickering, fighting blahblahblah…
One of my sisters came out to visit two Januaries ago and was like,”How can you make money off of your growing?” and I was just like,”Fuck money. I’m doing this because I love growing weed.” That’s the problem with everybody. “How can we monetize this?” Fuck capitalism. Can’t we just appreciate a thing for what it is, without considering the financial implications?

I used to have a partner in my old grows many many years back. Were doing indoor then only … and yeah… didn’t really get ripped off, was more of an age gap in that i was way younger… taught the guy how to grow then he got his mates in there to come and join and I kinda just got worked out. Parted ways and left them with all the equipment etc… no hard feelings though… they teamed up with some conman that I know from back in the day and they got royally screwed … so is what it is

Human-fucking-nature. That’s what it is. I try my best to be the greatest haha and I’m super-picky about my friends and all, but still… It just seems like eventually everybody’s gonna turn into kind of an asshole haha. Anyway, no big deal. We’ll just do our thing and enjoy these grows. Can’t get any better than that.

I hear you there. Once you let people involved especially more then one things get hairy. It’s hard for me just to show pics. You would think people would learn how to grow this plant on there own, but most people cant, or wont, or don’t have the patients…

I guess we are all different. I remember the first couple times I smoked the weed. No money and relied on older folks to get me lifted. I decided rt away that I wasn’t paying for something that grows. I grew two plants that first year. Nearly forty years later I still have close friends who don’t grow but smoke like a chimney. I just don’t get it in a totally legal environment some People just aren’t into growing.

Yeah, I don’t get it, either. I have one friend who’s a hard-core stoner, he’s the guy I always give a fat nug from every plant so I can get a second opinion and kind of cross-reference what I think of each pheno. He loves talking weed. Most of my friends only smoke when they hang out with me, but he blazes every day, so he’s a reliable and trusted opinion. And I’m always like,”Why don’t you grow?” But he doesn’t. I have no idea why, because he fucking LOVES weed. I guess some people just don’t wanna do it, for whatever reason. Who am I to judge? But I do judge haha.

Thats just it… the industry … now everyone’s an expert and everyone’s the man. I’ve been to a couple expos out here and it’s a mind fuck hearing what people say … it’s like the money makes up for inexperience and that fuels the ego. Dudes wanna talk shop like… “yah look , travel with a kilo of weed down to cape town and you’ll know what I mean hey”
I’m sitting there thinking …yeah how about you try 500 … every 4 months 
Then you get to to talking with other store owners that tell you the old… you are growing all wrong story… and that if you do it like this and use this… you’ll get 5kg off a plant… but they’ve never grown outside of a tent in their lives… never done a single gorilla run, grown in a greenhouse, run some outdoor monsters or even a big room run and will sit and bullshit you but the money he has to buy the best stuff , own a shop and now supply growers, carries over to his ego thinking he grows the best bud with the best nutes and best techniques and will sit and legitimately bullshit people… that’s the industry … I’m not saying everyone was like that at the expo cos booths like the Bluemat store were there and they were great to talk to… cos they giving you facts and demonstrations and advice… so not all bad but yeah im still kind of on that fuck the industry

Plus they seem to measure “experience” in dog years. I know guys who have grown less than me selling themselves as experts and consultants. One outdoor guy can barely grow a decent sized bush but is trying to tell people how to grow trees. Funny stuff

Yeah I went to a CDC meeting maybe a year back and this smug little prick was a so called consultant for the organization … but he was so far up his own arse he could eat his lunch twice. Greasy, scruffy little cunt that couldnt have been more than 25 trying to pull a fast one like he could consult on licencing multi million facility. FOH … youd never let him near your grow tent let alone a big facility. Straight chancer

I was at the pub the other night and this guy I know, close to my age, telling me that he has this gig going to help people learn to grow pot and solve their problems. He says he calls himself the weed whisperer, lol. He says he takes 15% of their grow and that supplies his smoke.
The more the night went on and the more he told me I realized he didn’t know shit, and he realized he’d been trying hard to bullshit somebody that actually knew what he didn’t. smh. By the time I left he was trying to get me to partner up with him to create a school to teach people and have a warehouse where everyone could have a grow stall. All about how to make some money on it all, but never really learning about it to any depth. I told him I was way too busy trying to remodel this 125 year old house to get into a new business venture.
I don’t go out much anymore… wonder why.
