Testers: Blueberry Diesel

Update time

Number 1…fading fast, putting some frost on too

Number 2 not fading as fast buds are stacking nicely as well

Number 3 fade wise seems to be on the same timeline as 2

Sorry for the awful photos but take my word they all three have a healthy coat of frost. I have had a aphid problem this entire grow and all 3 of these plants are showing low to no aphid activity while all the plants around them have the tell tale white suck marks.

These are the plants to both sides of them

So yeah take it for what it’s worth but maybe some pest resistance

Hey brother, welcome to OG and the community. I see you are interested in becoming a tester. As an advanced tester, I could offer you some advice?
First, it would be helpful if you first have completed at least a grow journal or two. They don’t necessarily have to be posted here on OG, possibly you migrated from another site. Many of us have.
If you haven’t completed a grow journal, possibly you have pictures of what you have grown, and can list the equipment you use if you grow indoor.
I also noticed you did not mention whether or not you are an inside or outside grower. This can make a difference for Breeders seeking testers. Many want their beans tested as soon as possible. However, if you are established, some breeders are willing to wait up to a year to see, if say, their seeds do well outdoors.
Also, to be an effective tester, you should ask what the expectations are from the contributors. Do they want a Full Report? If photo regs, how many beans successfully germinated? What was the female to male ratio? Do they want pics all the way throughout the grow? Most would like at least one veg pic, some good flowering pics, and what seems to be the Brass Ring, a fine nugget fresh out of the jar after proper curing. Which can take 2 months from harvest.
Some breeders want private grow journals, while others don’t seem to mind if you post pics, but post properly, only good pics, and don’t over do it.
The last tip I can give you is to be as completely transparent and honest as possible. Be honest about the time-line, about your experience, what you can and cannot do.
Once you study and understand these guidelines, doors will open for you, and both the breeders and contributors and yourself may flourish.
If you have any questions, I’d be glad to answer them.
That being said, do you have any pics of some of your successful grows? Are you inside or out? Perhaps I could use some help this fall…

I am an indoor grower only rate now. I am waiting to go back outside after 07/01/2023. We will
Be legal in my state as of previously mention date.I have not done any grow journals online, but did keep notes from my last few indoor grows as well as pictures that I will attach. Rate now I have grown AK-47 and Super Skunk. I purchased seeds from ILGM and the results was radical at best, found a much better source DC Seed Exchange. For equipment I just got recently got a new 4’x4’x80”
AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 844 Advance Grow tent, AC Infinity Air Filtration PRO Kit 6”, CLOUDLINE Inline Fan with Controller 69, Carbon Filter Ducting Combo, Cooling and Ventilation System for Grow Tents, 2 CLOUDRAY S6, Grow Tent Clip Fan 6”, Weatherproof IP-44, Auto Oscillation, 300W led grow light, 480W Led grow light, humidifier, dehumidifier, heater, additional automation for all other devices, all organic operation and I do grow in my same room out in the open as well. I have COPD and am now retired and can devote a lot of time to this project as I can not do to much and only read, play my guitars, watch TV, and grow. I do keep very detailed notes as well and will be doing a grow journal on OG soon. Please see pictures. Again I appreciate the chance to resubmit for this opportunity. I welcome your input as to the above statement and anything I can add in the future.

Please feel free to submit any other questions you may have. I can start rate away with your approval of course. Did not intend to get off on the wrong foot with you.

Lol, was absolutely on right foot! I was just offering some advice, and that’s a great resume you have there!! I’m sure you’ll have far more beans than space before you know it!!
PS COPA, DARKHORSE, AND SHORELINE, are my recommendations for buying seeds. There are many more, be sure to keep an eye out for reviews. Stick around a while and you won’t much have to worry about that.
And your response was fantastic, I would send it in a DM to those seeking testers tho.
Your definitely in the right place.
Nice AK47, BTW.
I too, am on the east coast, :us:

Long story short I lost the 2 females I had :sob::pensive: and I feel absolutely terrible seeing how good everyone’s came out. I was hoping to pick between the 2 and keep it around. I believe I have a rooted clone of one of them but I’m not sure which Pheno it is or what it smelled like as the power went out during week four of flower for about 10-14 days. The other tent I was flowering in was near the end of week 7 and I was slowly ramping up the new light to see how powerful it was. Turned out their wattage consumption is probably to much for my electrical box (renting so upgrading isn’t a option). One side of the diesel tent did still light up so I tried to keep up on watering to help my brother out, but between an early harvest on my tent and trying to make a storage close my new veg space I couldn’t catch it in time so they all dried out near the end of that 2 weeks when I noticed the light came back on. Sorry anon bro I know you were looking forward to seeing them :pensive: and thanks for letting me test them!!!

I have two BBD that were flipped to flower exactly 10 weeks ago. Curious how long others flowered for. mine are very close to done but I do need the space so I am curious about how long others flowered for.

Best way to resolve power issue is really very simple. Go to the breaker that is giving you a problem and see what is on that circuit (you can use a lamp or hair dryer to check for power at each outlet). and move some stuff around so as not to overload that circuit. You can only put about 12 amps continuous duty on a 15 amp breaker. I am a Master Electrician with a degree Electrical Enginering.

We have to use the arc fault breakers for certain things here, wait until you see the cost for a bank of those bad boys.
