Testers: Blueberry Diesel

Oh definitely and I’ve given out so many packs to members here and local buddies. It will most certainly live on.

If you ever need any more let me know.

Also if your interested I did end up crossing two different BBD females to my last black cherry run. Which was the Black Triangle F2 x Cherry West Bx. If you’re interested I will send you some.

Uhhh, yum? That sounds awesome! Does it taste like fruit loops?

@ix3u yeah the flavor does come across. I’ve had to ask people for help with this one since to me I seldom feel like what I’m smelling from my nose comes through in taste. But the people i have sampled to have definitely told me the “sweet” comes through in the taste in this specific BBD female.

That’s awesome

I wonder if what your calling fruit loops is also what I’m calling “berry berry”. It’s not like a perfume berry, it’s just like straight fruit flavor lol.

I sampled a bud that was dry but not cured and the flavor comes out just as strong as the fruit smell. It’s more fruit flavor then hulkberry, or blue gelato. Maybe with a hint of sour on the exhale. The strength is also a winner as I am a daily toker and this gets my nicely toasted in no time.

I can say this, this is the most “fruit or berries” tasting strain I have ever grown…hands down. Can’t wait for the cure to see how the flavors develop.

No not a perfume… its definitely more a fruit berry smell but very sweet. Everytime I crack the Grove bag to either smoke or give out a sample it’s just to good. I sniff till I can sniff no more haha

This applies to all the four females I had.

The lemon is still the best smelling of them all. I’ve been holding on to that and hoarding it to myself.

Yeah I kept my lemon pheno all to myself. I didn’t mention it to anyone other than folks on here.
Sharing is caring my ass

The lemon comes across so well in this cross when you find a plant that has it. Even with my allergies being horrid this year I can still totally smell the potency of it. I’m hoping that the cross I made between the BBD F2’s which were both VERY sweet and the Black Cherry (Black Triangle F2 x Cherry W. bx) bring out a berry/lemon plant. I have 10 people lined up to test it out so I’m hoping something spectacular shows up as lemon was dominant in the Black Cherry. :crossed_fingers:t4:

So since you use them, I’m assuming you like them. Do you think there is enough of a benefit to justify the expense of them? They sure aren’t cheap!

@Rhai88

i was wondering the same. i’ve been using boveda packs but i’m not happy with them.

Samsies. The boveda packs are “fine”, but not great. I feel like they strip some of the aroma from the bud.

absolutely.

Have you tried notsodogs curing method? It’s very close to how cigar manufacturers cure their premium tobacco leafs, which is IMO the pinnacle of curing plants. I think is the best technique I’ve tried so far, both for terps and to keep trichs from degradation. It’s also super cost effective, almost free.

Pz :v:t2:

This is how I do it. Only instead of paper bag I stand the branches up in a 5 gallon bucket with a gamma seal and open it daily, sometimes I leave it cracked over night to let it breathe a little bit always on stem. It slows down the drying process a lot which IMHO provides a smoother smoke.

Here’s a good one for anyone who hasn’t watched it. A little above my scale, but could easily be scaled down :joy:
