TestOfOath's Happy Place

I think for one it makes it easier to plant when the root points straight down. I started doing it this year…think it was @Qtip who advised me on it.

Yah the plant detects gravity when it’s in the paper towel and the roots go down and the leaves go up. When they were laid flat, the seedling would be L shaped instead of | vertical.

Finally happiness. Lol. I could see how grow bags would be a big help.

So I feel like things turned out decently for the amount of neglect I’ve been giving my outdoor this year but that’s what’s best about growing outdoors, right?

There’s one that’s getting eaten by rabbits at the stalk, we’ll see if it makes it, another one or two are just generally kinda unhappy but it is what it is lol got enough plants that it’s not a big deal. The big one out front had one of the main stalks split but is still attached enough to be growing on the one side. Haven’t fed it anything and seems to have a bad potassium deficiency, I’ll probably throw some top dressing on it and maybe even water it for the first time ever :joy:

So I bought some Super Thrive and sprayed all the little plants in hydro last night with it… The two smallest ones got real pissed off and started withering at the stem overnight so I rinsed em and supported and covered em at the weak point with the hydtroton. Really hoping they recover, guess that’s TOO small to be spraying em… Pics in a sec

Trying to sprout 3 new ones in rockwool, the future #1 seems to be popping up overnight but it was in paper towel for 2 days, the forum stompers I pulled straight from the lense cases and water and put them root down in the rockwool. I need to come up with a method for sprouting for hydro, or read some of your guy’s threads. Sexing regular seeds for hydro is another problem I’ve been thinking about too.

Also started harvest the Hopi tobacco flowers for seeds, waiting for leaves to start fading yellow to harvest them.

It has been a busy summer. You’ll get back to it when it gets colder. I’m sure you’ll have your inside going pretty good.

I think you made plenty of seeds last year. Lol. This year you might want to do it for yourself. I appreciate your seeds. I’ve been very happy with everything that I grow. I know I don’t tag like I should.
I have some new stuff coming in I can’t wait. In another week or so I’ll be ready to flip. You’re a good guy.
I’m not trying to say that that doesn’t make you happy. This time for some budge.

I figure I’ve got enough time to do some runs for some personal smoke. Appreciate your support as always brother, I know you grow a lot of weed and different breeders so I truly appreciate your praise

I just dropped 10 pure Michigan f3, run em in one gallons in the grow tent since the tobacco is almost done. Want some tobacco seeds? Lol

@TestOfOath I can’t wait to see a smoke report on the tobacco once it’s done…if you survive! @Pigeonman warned me not to try it or even touch it when he sent me some too. I was going to grow it outdoors next season, but seeing the plants you grew inside makes me want to grow 1 indoors to sample it. It’s been 5 months for me no cigs, but I still like to break up some grabba in my spliffs from time to time.

The best is from right here from OG. I’ll be making seeds soon. I want to be able to offer something. Everyone knows who I’m talking about. People here have been very kind to me. Most of that last grow was you and @lefthandseeds . Now I got everybody else. @Oldtimerunderground @G-paS @G-paS @Papalag @JohnnyPotseed @Jinglepot . A few more. I couldn’t be happier. @Bow4Buck

My buddy who I think I’d gave some seed you’d sent has got a couple nice tobacco plants going outdoors . Not sure he knows how to properly cure it / process it .

A lot of seeds are for gifts. Some of the new people I think will be happy this Christmas. Also for myself. I’m trying to get those old-school strains myself.

Please be careful. The seeds were given to me with the warning that they are for ceremonial use only. The leaves may have a toxic amount of nicotine or close to it. Just passing that info along.

They’ve got something sticky on them similar to trichomes… Feels more greasy than sticky.

Even just nudging things around while I’m watering has gotten it on my hands and I have really bad allergies after I started getting close to 30 and it’ll make my eyes redder than the devil’s dick and itch just as badly. I wear a glove if I’m excessively doing anything around them now.

I will continue to pass your warning onto anyone I may give the seeds to brother, appreciate your concern

Very true. The plant will kill you. I have been told that ever since I was a little boy. You just can’t go up and take a leave and smoke it. They’re a beautiful plant grown outside.
