TestOfOath's Happy Place

So my fresh frozen hash was so melty and sticky you could dab it, decided to make a little hash snowman instead of pressing it. Still got a bag of 25u to play with a little but this little hashman made my day for now :joy:

@Emeraldgreen it paid for my wife and I’s car insurance this year and a Nintendo switch for my kids for Christmas among a few other things so far  i always think about a decade ago when I was much younger and anything along the lines of what I’m doing now was just a big dream, here I am these years later trying to make it a reality

@Shadey @Emeraldgreen Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Hope everyone had some nice holidays.

I’ve got a happy wife and kids and couldn’t ask for more  well I wouldn’t mind having tomorrow off like I was supposed to but extra money to keep taking care of everyone isn’t the worst thing

Happy new year everyone, I been working to get my happy place back up and running and make it actually my happy place again :joy:

Rolled this 10 gram cannon of 10 different weeds, 2 ice hash layers, and 3 different waxes covered in hash for myself for new years cause my life is lame lol great joint though, took like 5 sessions to finish.

Realized I don’t have the time required to do hydro with being gone for days at a time so that got tore down and is in the garage, pulled up the old reflective base and vacuumed everything real good, sprayed the walls and every surface that wouldn’t get ruined with isopropyl alcohol, set off one of these no mess bug bombs after removing anything that’ll be consumed or covering things I didn’t want the pesticides on. I’m gonna burn my house down if that didn’t get rid of the aphids and any other fucking insects that were in there.

Got my next round of breeding started, I’m thinking I’m going to have to reverse one of the ICC 98 I got cause I’m worried if I S2’d my ICC 5 it’d start getting unstable. Plus if I cross them together I can call it ICC #69 cause I think I’m hilarious :joy: tried to switch the variety up a bit with this selection, still just chucking pollen with good genetics hoping for the best, one of these days I’ll buckle down and do research on my crosses or follow my dream of making brand new old crosses with landraces

I’ll post more pics soon cause I kinda need to get back to the basics after all the jumping around I’ve done and get one growing method perfected before just trying everything. Need to figure out my new M3 Michigan made soil (got a bunch of top dressings mixed in says to water at 6.5) sprouting in either worm castings or vermiculite (I had bad luck with vermiculite so far). Should probably drain my watering tank cause I’m sure it’s got a bunch of nutes settled at the bottom from using it for the hydro so that I’ve got a full reset.

But hopefully I’ll be back at it real soon and have this as my record keeping again and be asking questions until I understand the science of having a solid grow

Happy New Year :fireworks:. Hope all your cleaning and preparing do the trick. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Question about your Durban ICC 5 cross. What’s the flowering time for it? Thank you

I’ve only grown it outside and it got put out late but it seemed to be right in line with the ICC which needed a little longer to finish anywho vs being the extra long flowering time of the Durban. I haven’t gotten to do a controlled grow of it yet so I can’t speculate as to the exact length of time unfortunately.

I should probably spend some time growing all of these out so I can document it for multiple reasons, I think I’ll do that after I do this seed run I’m setting up. I’ll have plenty of seeds to sustain my other needs so I should have plenty of time to sort through everything I’ve made

I’m still searching for THE outdoor strains. I’m definitely putting your ICC 5 out this season. I was thinking about the Durban cross also. Sounds like I should try them also.

I have Durban terps with ICC bud structure in my head

Seeds a sprouting, I should probably have a small contingency plan in case I don’t get the germ rates I need

Figured the tent running 240 watts should be enough heat without the heat mat… It only fits 4 containers instead of all 5 I needed. Maybe 7 seeds total hadn’t sprouted so I tried cracking them and tossed them in next to one that had sprouted. Worst case they don’t sprout best case I gotta separate when I put em in solo cups
