you will want to run veg nutes for the first couple of weeks into the 12/12 switch and then go to bloom nutes. If you go straight to bloom nutes when you first switch it will increase your chances of deficiency especially potassium. I had the same question a couple days ago and that was the concensus among responses

12/12 is how flowering is simulated indoors. This ensures flowering. Many strains will start much sooner. The plant will tell you what it needs. It will probably start stretching aoo, then go into full blown flower.

Saw some interesting OLD pix the other day…guys cropping near Dallas in the 60’s 70’s outdoors near the Trinity River. (said the purple Afghani didn’t do well, but the green did)
The story is they would grow seeds here and then drive to California to sell them.

na i havent but it would be worth looking into. I’d imagine there could be some good outdoor growing done by the trinity or if you go north from here to the red river. I mean the water source you know…but to be fair im not from the dallas area originally so I don’t know a lot of “urban legend” stuff about this area. I only moved here like 5 or 6 years ago. Im originally from West texas

I’m originally from east texas and the trinity runs through our property line in Long Lake. You could possibly grow something in huge bags, but the bugs would eat them alive or the deer lol.
