As usual, @paintedfire420 genetics just exploded out the gate. Had taproots before anything else, and are easily the most vigorous of the bunch. Lots of good reviews for that BNK. And of course @BogSeeds fave, his Sour Bubble. RIP. I ordered these beans through him just a couple days before he passed. He even hooked me up with his Sour Grape as a freebie, which I’ll definitely be running soon as well.
I’m at 8 weeks now with 4 Cherry Queen (Bodhi), F2s bred and gifted by @lefthandseeds. They each have their own unique Cherry smell, some sour, sweet, metallic. This is my favorite looking and smelling of them all so far. Not nearly as dense buds as the others, but the dankest sweet cherry/chocolate smell I’ve laid nostrils on in a long while. Reminds me of Queen Ann cherries. Looks like I got at least another week before I start snipping samples, but there’s a surprising amount of amber already. Probably just from my constant squeezing.
What a gorgeous plant, and very intriguing description. I’ve got a Cherry Queen cross from @lefthandseeds that is first in rotation when I am able to grow again, and this thread is filling me with anticipation lol.

Thanks! No, babies were not made. I tried pollinating the CR but it failed. And now that I’ve smoked them a bunch, there were not really any standouts between them. The orange Goji wasn’t the best either. I’ll need to run a full pack to do them justice. I’m a seed popping mad man and generally try not to make more. I’m trying to shrink my collection not expand.
Oh that’s precious. Never thought of using them to help with the stretch lol. But honestly they are the best when shit gets floppy. I rarely stake now with the hangers.

I’m really loving the look and growth of this Motz Cherry from @OleReynard. It’s at about 54 days now, probably needs another 2 weeks to finish I’m guessing. It’s got this classic Xmas tree shape, didn’t stretch too much in flower, and looks to be rocking this little 3 gal pot better than most strains I run in 3 gal. I’m seriously thinking of doing a big run of them in 3gal and just filling the tent. We’ll see how the smoke is. The buds have a kind of chemical cherry scent, like medicinal cherry smells. Can’t quite place it but not at all like the sweet or sour cherry scent from the Cherry Queens.
And this Sin City HarleSin is a short, leafy, indica bud forming little frost monster. I’ll never know how much THC:CBD but I am thinking it looks like I might get high from it. Definitely doesn’t look anything like the bud shots in that link. Sativa leaning? Who knows…

I love it when the calyx poke out like that and get all phat. I truly believe its a sign of potency. Less hairs and larger calyxs are what i like.
