I cut down my SinCity HarleSin plant today at 60 days. The main cola is absolutely massive, far bigger than even my biggest Cherry Queen. And it’s even leafier than Cherry Queens which I didn’t think was even possible. It’s so frosty that I’m just doing a rough cut and will silicon brush the rest off when it’s dry.
I also took a sample cut from my Purple Unicorn F5 at 10 weeks now. This plant had a rough late life. It ran out of food early then I burned the shit out of the fan leaves trying to feed it. Surprisingly the buds are still in very good shape despite my efforts. Lots of cloudy trichs but still needs another week or so.
Someone in another thread mentioned wet wood smells, and that is it for sure. I’m getting lots of earthy, moss, dirt, and oddly enough, mothball smells. Thankfully no shit smell like has been mentioned. Then after I cut it the smell just went to straight wet forest floor. Never had anything smell like that. Nor anything look so straight up purple.
They can’t all grow perfectly, but I’m still happy with how this PUF5 #1 turned out. I’m realizing all the dots might actually be water burn marks. I attempted to pollinate this plant with male PU pollen. After 1/2 a day I sprayed it down with water and put it back in the flower tent under the lights. None of the other plants have the dots, so I’m thinking it has to be light burn from water droplets. Never really seen that before, but also never really spray my plants. The bottom half of the plant out of the intense light is also fine.
I’m cutting this down tomorrow at 11 weeks. Ran out of steam. But I have her sister #2 just started flowering and she’ll have a better life I’m sure. Got four of these tops to go through and a mini bush below them.

I’m just trying it and it failed. Not a single seed as I can tell, but it may have been the pollen itslef. I normally just pollinate and never spray anything down, but I’m trying new ways of controlling it better.
Yeah, this is the same plant. I took a sample cut last week and posted the wet forest smells. Definitely a new stank for the bank. But the dried sample cut is turning very sweet smelling now.
This AK47 from @OleReynard is one of the last ladies holding up the next grow. She’ll be at 70 days in a bit, and seems could go another week. The new calyxes just keep coming. But she’s on death row and will be lucky to see next week. Real excited to try this old school smoke.

Thanks! I only popped three of your Cherry AK47 for a quick test and this was my sole female. All three were very uniform and showed sex very quickly at like 4 nodes. I REALLY liked that. But I am most enamored by her structure. Such a compact, even little bush of heavy buds. I’m thinking I’ll net at least a couple ounces in just a 3 gal organic water only soil. That’s good numbers for me. I’m really considering running a whole tent full, veg them out a bit more. That would be a hell of a haul. I’m gonna have to try some smoke first before making that decision.
Smells are ever evolving. In this late stage it has taken on more of a medicinal smell, kind of like Vic’s vapor rub. I’m also getting whiffs of beef jerky? and something sweet behind it all. Very complex. My nostrils are constantly up in that one. The Bank of Stank is happy with this deposit.
